âGen, I swear this whole aura stuff is just your way of finding out everyoneâs businessâ
âIs not!â Genesis declared, though she was amused. âI worry about people! And about you, Billie. Let me know if you want to talk.â

Derek mumbled incoherently for a moment as his body tried to give in. âAnything at all⌠wake me upâŚâ He spoke slowly before the world seemed to shut down around him and his body drifted into sleep.
Genesis kept her hands on the man for a time before she rose, closing the door and the blinds to his office. She left, momentarily, hunting around until she found the linen closet, and returned with a few blankets, which she draped over the man, gentle. She settled against the floor, legs crossed, back straight, meditative, attempting to send healing energy his way.
derekkensington:
Derek left his eyes closed as he felt her hands over his chest and the his forehead, exhaling slowly still. âI shouldnât.â He sighed. âI should.. I should bandage  this.â He mumbled.
âYou should,â she urged, smoothing her palm over his closed lids as though to encourage it. âYou spend so much time on other people... take a few moments to yourself. I promise... I will wake you if there is an emergency of some sort.â
derekkensington:
Derek listened to each soothing word escape her lips as she seemed to calm him and his heart rate. It must have been some inane voodoo because despite his doubts it was working? âI feel like I could fall asleep like this.âHe murmured.
Genesis slid her other hand to his heart, the one that had previously been there sliding up his chest to his forehead. She pressed back his hair, stroking, softly, and she murmured, âThen sleep. Just for a little while. Youâve done so much for us... take care of yourself for a moment. Iâm here...â
derekkensington:
Derek hissed as he listened and did as she asked. He inhaled deeply and held it, releasing it slowly after a moment. It felt like a Lamaze class. Doing as she asked and sparing a glance up at her as she covered his wound. Clenching his teeth he could feel the warmth taking over, the pain lessening with each slow exhale.
âThere you go... like that,â Genesis coaxed, and one hand came from his wounds to his chest, resting over his heart. âJust breathe, okay? Like that. Keep going... close your eyes... let the scent of the lavender help to ease you.â She kept her voice low, intimate, and slow paced. All gentle, all encouraging... all for the man whoâd suffered in order to keep them safe.
lylaquinn:
âOh no, it was just a joke. That I havenât got the body for stripping because I eat my feelingsâ Lyla laughed softly. âBut then I probably shouldnât be saying that to a nutritionistâ
âYou can say whatever you want to anyone,â Genesis insisted. âAnd your body is fine. I donât create meal plans to make people look a certain way. Itâs just to make their bodies a healthy vessel.â
derekkensington:
Derek obeyed, stretching himself across the couch as she requested and looking back up at her. âYes Maâam.â He nodded. When he felt the warm salve, he hissed again, body retracting on instinct. âShit.â He hissed.
âI know, I know...â Genesis murmured, as though soothing a wild beast. âI know it hurts... but it should feel better soon, I promise. Just... take in a deep breath through your nose... hold it... then out slowly through your lips. Just keep going...â Genesisâs voice was calm, gentle, as she urged him through the pain. She made sure the salve filled the wounds, surrounded the place that would bruise, then she lay her hand, warm, over it, breathing slowly.
alexandra-beckett:
Pausing Alex chucked. âYou know thatâs not actually the first time iâve been told that in my life.â she admitted. âItâs probably just because of all the stress at work.âÂ
âIf you want, I can help you with that,â Genesis offered. âI know that Iâm just here to work with the people and nutrition... but Iâm also pretty versed in reiki. I can do a little energy work with you.â
lylaquinn:
âI donât do talking. I eat instead. Hence why Iâm in the offices and not one of the strippersâ
âEveryone needs someone to talk to every once in a while,â Genesis protested. âIâm sorry if you feel like youâre alone here, but... youâre important.â
derekkensington:
Derek hissed slightly as he moved to the couch where she had gestured, carefully taking a seat and leaning back. âOnly the obvious part.â He spoke as he looked down at his abdomen that had been sliced up by the glass. If there was anything else it was masked by the pain from the glass. âSeems like its just this. Canât be sure.â
Genesis cringed at the sound of his pain, freezing momentarily as though any movement would make him worse. She nodded, however, and plucked up one of the jars sheâd laid out. âStretch out,â she urged. âLie all the way down so I can reach the place...â She spread some of the salve over her palms, warming it, and spread it over the affected area. Genesis was well aware that it would hurt (dealing with any injury would), but it would dull.
caliente-guerrero:
ââŚ..My aura? That sounds pretty shitty, actually. How else would you suggest I fix my aura?â he asked, an eyebrow raised in curiosity.
âSi, papi.â Genesis took the manâs hand and spread her palm over it, gentle. âIâd start off with some energy work. See where youâre holding in all of that pain.â
mitchellslmuir:
âOh so your here to tell people what to eat and drink, well I drink too much, although I eat all right since I donât want to not look like this.â Â The dark circles under his eyes were minimal for a change as he had slept the night before. Â âSo tell me what you see?â Â He looked right at her, the torments in his eyes as he didnât try to hide them from her for some reason. Â âI assume you donât drink?â
âIâm here to help people be healthy,â Genesis insisted, as though there was much difference. She preferred for people to make their own choices, and she knew that forcing something down someoneâs throat, proverbially, was the wrong way to do it. Keeping to herself did her pretty well. âI see... well.â Genesis knew that it wasnât really her place to tell other people how to act, and clients were probably at the top of that list. But... she couldnât help herself from saying, âI drink occasionally, mainly wine. But... with you? I see... your skin looks a little thing. Definite dehydration. Probably from the alcohol.â
derekkensington:
Derek looked down and played with the gauze he had put over it before he heard her return, head popping up to see her scrounge through a bag. âI have a desk⌠and that couch.â He gestured behind her. âNo room. Though seeing a bloody head of security roaming the calls might be a cause for worry.â He made a face.
âItâs okay,â Genesis said. âWe can make do.â And she could, probably. Sheâd healed worse in worse conditions before. She gave a motion for him to ease onto the couch as she situated her bottles and jars on his desk. âSo what areas are causing the most pain right now? And how deep are the injuries? Any lacerations?â
dancing-luci:
Pausing Luci looked up at the woman talking. âMy whata is off?â she asked a bit confused by the whole statement. âAre you some sort of therapist or something?â
âYour aura,â Genesis insisted, as though repeating it would clarify her statement entirely. âItâs the part of you that surrounds you. Your heart and soul, basically. Iâm a nutritionist, but I also do holistic healing, so... sort of.â
mitchellslmuir:
Mitch was only drinking a beer as he watched her slip next to him. Â âIsnât that everyoneâs answer when they think they can help someone?â Â The contact almost made him jump out of the seat as he hadnât been looking at her when she touched him. Â âYou must be another bartender to want to listen to a client whine into his beer.â
âMight be,â Genesis agreed, though she said little else. âNo, Iâm not a bartender. Iâm here for the escorts and strippers mainly. Iâm a nutritionist... help them keep themselves as their best selves. But because of that...â She gave his arm a small squeeze before releasing altogether. â...I feel as though I can read people pretty well. Their bodies... body language... that kind of thing.â
