felix-oloughlin:
“Did you put them in there?” Asked he, not stopping his journey towards the water. Felix stepped in it, cold ripples making his skin cover itself in tiny bumps, every hair raising on his body. Snapping turtles. Terrifying creatures, surely capable of causing more damage than anything else, but through all this time he had spent here, the closest thing to a snapping turtle was nobody else but Genevieve. “Or are you talking about yourself?”
Finding a comfortable sitting position, Gen laughed as she pushed her sunglasses off of her face and towards her head. “Guess you’ll just have to find out.” She laughed, tilting her head to the side as she studied the curve of his back without shame or, honestly, grace. “You would be an easy target, you know.”
theodorewalker:
“Lucy, her name is Lucy,” he added with a barely visible smile. He knew well his mother was not fond of the mentioned witch, and Theo immediately decided to keep the fact that she, well, shot him with the intention to kill, a secret untold. “Besides, let me remind you that you live with a person, who is half demon, so.”
“She’s the witch who almost killed by son, forgive me if I’d rather not concern myself with her name.” Gen scoffed, eyeing him curiously. If she knew her son, he would have gone after her by now. She was moreso surprised he’d waited this long. “Let me remind you that if it weren’t for Felix, I wouldn’t be standing here having this conversation. He’s a good man, albeit a bit annoying, but you should try and get along with him, Teddy.” She hummed, a small smile at the mention of her partner.

Gen wasn’t sure how long she’d been by the lake. There was a gentle breeze, the clouds occasionally passing over them as the sounds of the forest filled the space around her. For the first time in a week Gen felt blissful, which is why she shouldn’t have been surprised when a naked Felix shot past her and towards the lake.
“You know there are snapping turtles in there, right?” Gen called, shimming up to sit and watch, an amused grin on her lips.
“All right sweet heart,”
“I’m gonna need you to duck down.” The cigar puffed out a plume of smoke before the demon let it fall from his lips and smolder against the damp earth below. He fired once, hitting the wolf in the shoulder, and once again, blowing away another hunk from it’s side, successfully slowing the beast down. He pulled back and rolled his neck once, crack, and twice, crack, back ‘round.
“Ought’ta be more careful there,” he grinned, “Woods ain’t safe.”
It was so close. She’d made it a bit further than the wolf, waiting patiently until it entered her zone. Usually, Gen knew her surroundings like the back of her hand. She was analytical, systematic, but she’d grown careless with Felix by her side. She didn’t always need someone watching her back, but having Felix had been a blessing, albeit a bit disguised. So when the man hurled out from the trees, Gen’s surprise led her to lock on a new target.
“It was handled.” Gen spat, not taking kindly to the nickname nor the advice, gun now aimed at the stranger. “I’d been tracking her for an hour. You had no right.”
theodorewalker:
“And I thought we agreed you would quit.”
“Mhm, I thought we agreed you wouldn’t go chasing that little witch? It seems we’re both making bad decisions for our health.” She retorted, voice monotone as she took another drag of the cigarette. Truthfully, she couldn’t stop him. He was her son but she respected the decisions he made: he was old enough to make them. She’d raised him to be a good man, she only hoped he practiced what she’d taught him.
“Thanks for the light.” She mused, giving the stranger a quick grin before taking a drag of her cigarette.
felix-oloughlin:
“Be a baby about it,” he repeated mockingly, grimacing as he turned away. It would not have been a smart move — to do so looking at her, for she was close enough to hit him again. Either way, he flopped into a chair on the opposite side of the table than she was, and fixing his nose, getting it in it’s original position, glared at her. “Hey, hey, Gen, here’s an idea — maybe next time you should just take the goddamn table and hit me with it, I don’t think your fist does the job well enough.”
“Now you’re offending my fists?” Gen challenged but her hands began moving the paper away, reaching over to swat his own fingers away from his face where she took to fixing his nose herself with a feather light touch. “Maybe next time you should mind your own goddamn business, yeah?” She argued with a grunt, pushing the nose back into place with a pop. “Or maybe, you should get a hobby like I suggested a week ago. Start golfing or something, get out of the house.”
felix-oloughlin:
“Jesus fucking Christ, Genevieve, I was kidding!” Hand covering his nose he moved back away from the woman, feeling the pain striking in a few seconds too late. “I wasn’t looking, I’m not suicidal!”
“I saw you in the microwave’s reflection, Felix.” She scoffed, moving to sit at the kitchen island where she flipped through the mail. “There’s ice in the freezer if you’re going to be a baby about it.”
“Excuse me?” Gen hissed, her body already moving in response as her fist collided with bone, the form in front of her crumpling at her feet.

(618): Instead of asking him how many women he’s slept with I just got straight to the point and asked how many Plan B pills he’s purchased
