i joked about also making an apology for not believing the pushing-the-beds-together theorists on this pushing-beds-together-during-tatinof post, but that was because i didn't remember what i thought about their bed situation at the time (minus the bus bed, which was obvious). my memory is terrible and i always need context to remember things. fortunately, context came from @philsmeatylegss's tag on a reblog of that post:

i immediately remembered the bed situation from this:

there's a lot of plausible deniability here. the beds are obviously meant to go in a pretty small area because of the lighting setup and the bedside tables, both beds are rumpled, phil is sick, etc. but i'd always thought they'd pushed the beds together while they were asleep and separated them for the video. it's just how it looked to me.
