I need more fics in which MadaTobi gets married but not because Tobirama got carted off either because Hashirama is an idiot or an an asshole, or because Butsuma was a [redacted].

No, I need them to get married because they want to and leave their fathers to wrangle the elders.

I need the old men to realise that if they had pulled that move years ago they would have had no council of elders to deal with because the old goats would have had an aneurysm.

I need an AU where their wives fucked off to the forest to care for a mountain shrine and they come back to mock them.

I need Izuna to mess with his father like "really, tou-san... you could have done it".

I need them to remind themselves that maybe it's a sign they did not ENTIRELY fuck up for their kids to trust them with it.

I need Butsuma, when they inevitably get dragged to the daimyo to justify themselves because the fuck?, to pull a "look at it that way, either my son marries into the Uchiha, or we merge the clans, up to you."

Hashirama was hoping for a merge and is disappointed that it was bluff.

I need the old men to sneak around to fuck only for Izuna to shout from the roof (ANBU oblige): FOR FUCK'S SAKE TOU-SAN EVEN THE CHICKENS KNOW YOU TWO FUCK DON’T FORCE BUTSUMA-SAN TO CREEP AROUND WITH THOSE CREAKY-ASS JOINTS OF HIS!"

It's not Tobirama's cat. Not exactly." Izuna and Madara exchange a look, then Madara leans close to scratch underneath the chin of the cat. Before he can make contact the eyes on the cat open into narrow slits. Despite how narrow they are, it is still obvious that they are red. Madara pulls his hand back before he gets scratched, his own eyes narrowing just as much. "What the hell did you do this time, you crazy Senju?"
