Just a small heads up about this blog and myself.

I block and signal as spam as soon as I have the smallest suspicion that a blog might be a bot.

I don't do commissions. This is a personal choice and I would like people to respect that. I can take requests and if it's something I can do - and have the spoons to do - I will. However I make no promise as to when it will be done.

I think that hating on a character or ship in that character or ship tag is tacky and I will instantly block because I believe in not yucking people's yum. It's like getting into your friend's fridge and complaining about the content.

I was looking up if I could roast zucchini - the oven is on, and I am lazy.

And I saw this: "Regular, non-extra virgin olive oil is perfect here."

For a moment, I forgot that olive oil can be anything but 'extra virgin'.

Anyway, I will bake the things. And probably also roast some borlotti beans for protein. Pretty sure these could be turned into a salad for tomorrow.

I present one of the tiniest ship I have ever written for: PeiXuan (3 fics on AO3, can't really top that). Also written for the @mxtxrarepairzine.

I have to admit that these two have been haunting me.

Summary:

So far away from his domain, he felt unmoored, a wanderer in a dreamscape he could not control. The destruction these two created was an anchor in the web of illusions He Xuan had wrought. It was as tangible as the arms in which he sank when existence threatened to crush him.

He thought of gentle eyes and a gentle smile that barely covered raw suffering.

People talked of being a ghost as though it was the most terrible thing in the world, but He Xuan begged to differ. Ghosts existed because they refused to give in. Becoming a ghost was a choice. Becoming a god was not.

He thought of words spoken into his skin with the trembling voice of a bereaved heart.

Amidst the poplars, it was said that a single eaglewood stood, cradled by the lake, its ancient roots sinking deep. Chen Xiang was incredibly valuable and sought after. No living soul that crossed under the eaves of the burning forest would ever come back…

The forest was a forbidden place.

The Prince of Xianle, placed under the protection of Hou Tu, ignored the warning. His martial might was unparalleled, and so was his heart. Crowned in blossoms, his smile was said to make sap run anew in withered trees.
