I just wanted to give a heads up also that I’m giving some serious consideration to deleting this blog. I don’t feel like Mikey really has formed any meaningful relationships here, and I know that she isn’t a super serious character, but feeling connected to my partners and like Mikey is growing as a character is what really anchors me to a blog, and I just don’t feel that here. Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time over on @dyysnomia, so feel free to follow me over there and I’ll probably reblog this a few more times and maybe stare at my drafts and doubt my life choices before making a final decision.

Hey!! I survived the hurricane, and my family and I and all the furbabies are just fine. We just got power back this evening after over 26?? hours without. I’m exhausted, but I wanted to check in.

I should probably mention that there’s a category five hurricane headed straight for us, scheduled to hit this weekend (on Sunday, specifically). My family has been getting our supplies in order, but the last time we got hit with something this huge, we lost power for fourteen days. Even if our generator lasts that long, I won’t have access to the internet, so it’s possible I could disappear for a couple of weeks. We’ll be fine, we’ve got supplies and hurricane shutters, but I might not be able to be around much. If I can, I’ll check in via mobile.
