You can’t hurt me anymore.
But you can always find me.
Just follow the trail of blood on the floor.

Denver Zoo and its gay lorikeets said fuck homophobes happy Pride
Homophobes: u mean they act like brothers
Denver Zoo: they’re fucking, lorie.
breaking news: local woman says animals observed to be mating are acting like siblings, implies brothers platonically fucking is a thing without a single atom of self-awareness

Okay I love this. And also this show. If you haven’t watched this show, you should watch it and then watch it again.

I think this is my favorite one of these I’ve seen lol
While I planned to go to the movies three times this month, I only actually made it to the theatres twice. I went to see a “Wake and Bake” screening of Good Burger and Tilt! (But I really REALLY wanted to see Real Genius - and a whole house full of popping corn - on the big screen! So bummed.)
I’ve already gone to the theatres once this month, tho it was a movie from 1979...
So, I guess I should probably watch some current movies, huh? Any suggestions?
it doesn’t matter how good you’re doing, those sad nights will creep up on you from time to time and that’s ok. doesn’t mean all your progress is gone
She Didn't Even Know Him
A couple years ago on New Year’s Eve, my partner and I were heading home late at night on the tube in London. A woman got on, followed by three men, one of whom immediately stood very close to her and held her upper arm tightly. We noticed them immediately when she said to him loudly, in response to something, that she didn’t even know him. In response he moved his hand to her breast and kept it there.
She was clearly uncomfortable, turned away from him, and kept telling him that she didn’t know him, while trying to move away but the train was crowded and she was stuck between him and a glass barrier. My partner and I quickly discussed options and tried to engage her in conversation but the guy kept responding in her place while his friends looked on. My partner asked the guy a question to engage him and assert non-aggressively that others were around, and he moved his hand off her breast and onto her arm, but kept whispering what looked like threats into her ear. Our stop was coming up and we were worried about leaving her on the train with these guys. When we got into the station, I said “getting off, excuse me” very loudly, so everyone would look in our direction. The guy tried to move aside to let us pass behind him, but I quickly stepped in front of him, smiled at him and said “getting off, excuse me” loudly again. As soon as he let go of the woman, I stepped between them, turned around to her and asked if she wanted to get off the train with us right now. She said yes, and by the time these guys realized what had happened, the doors closed and the train was pulling out of the station.
When we asked her what had happened, she said the guy came up to her on the platform and started chatting to her in a friendly way. Then he got more aggressive and by the time she got on the train he was aggressively attaching himself to her. She was clearly shaken and upset, and relieved to be rid of him.
I really wish I read more stories like this (I mean, I don’t like reading the true stories of these random assaults happening in general but here we are) - you always see those signs or hear those announcements telling you “If you see something, say something!” And in this case, she even DID something. YES.
