This blog was made to host my genloss au!

This au is pretty identical to the real genloss but the big change is that all of the streamers irl stuff is also canon!

Charlie was on chuckle sandwich, ranboo was on the dsmp etc.

But all of their content creation was done through Showfall, every video any of them have posted is just a character they are forced to do.

(Of course this is a, none of them have met up with anyone but maybe other people in Showfall)

Other creators who aren’t in genloss are just living like they do in our world.

So that’s the back ground! You can ask me questions but I can’t really draw so I’ll answer them with words and maybe a stick figure drawing!

The thought of Charlie feeling guilty for “lying” to his closest friends about his life when he’s a. not aware he’s lying and b. he’s being forced to, the thought of Charlie not wanting to leave because he thinks that no one will love the real him is so fun :)

Imagine being Ted or schlatt in this au and waking up one day to see a friend of a friend streaming and then you see that your close friend, the guy who left your podcast :(, is trending and deciding to watch, imagine watching the first episode and wondering why Charlie never told you he was doing this,

imagine watching the second episode, and seeing your friend screaming on a table, covered in blood, then you think no, it’s not real, it can’t be real, and convincing yourself of this

Imagine watching the third episode

Imagine realizing that your friend never really existed

That even when (if) he survives this, he doesn’t know you, and you don’t know him, not really, only the fake persona that this evil company forced on him

Imagine going through that and then watching your friend die

These imaginings are why I made this au, it just wouldn’t leave my head until I posted it

So, how did IRL things work with things like the Chuckle Sandwich Chuckle Week if Ted and Schlatt aren't in genloss? Would Charlie still be controlled by showfall? Would he act like a normal person? Did showfall have to make up a fake memeory of him doing things in his daily life? (Hetch asked if he had remembered anything before evebry thing, and he hazeily remembered the cabin, but he didnt remember having a real life) And would he act odd when not being recorded and talking to other creators? I'm just curious, I really like the idea of ur au :)

Thank you so much for your opinions on my au!!! I’m pretty swamped with school stuff right now so it’s hard to remember to write things about this au but I promise I’m trying!

I think that chuckle sandwich irl stuff probably didn’t happen, all of the gen loss creators probably have a reputation for never doing meet ups/irl stuff. I think that he has fake memories of a fake life when he’s streaming/recording, like how he seems to think he’s in a real room while streaming in the third episode.
