I forgot to swirl hydro since I was focused on the crystal in the Team 2 Food run but I don’t think I was even getting the buff from 4pc Petra 💀 whatever
I love how varied the builds for the same character, for the same purpose, can be. While there are usually a constant or two (crit damage and crit % almost universally), it’s shocking how many different ways you can build and still get amazing results. I like how this blog showcases different people’s contributions and angles for each character when possible.
I’m glad! My intention is definitely to show as many variations as I can find, along with multiple purposes (main dps, sub dps, burst dps, support, etc) and also allow for anyone to provide their own take on how they build a character!
So, I got Ayato on my Asia server account (if anyone wants to friend me just ask :) ) and I got the Mistsplitter Reforged, but I don’t know what artifacts and talents I should level up! Mhm ^^ What you’re looking for is Heart of Depths (more favoured and better than echoes). You can also run Blizzard if you’re running freeze comp. As for talents, priority goes Skill>Ult>NA. It’s not really necessary to level his NA, though. If you have a yunjin definitely build her as she’ll give him a pretty decent dmg boost! Aside from that mist is a great option so you’re all set. hello hello!! i'd like to ask for an advice about a team i'm planning that has dps xiao and burst support aloy (4pc noblesse). i'm planning to build yun jin as a second support and is wondering who would be best suited for a sub dps. preferably someone that's not anemo/cryo/geo for yun jin's 4th ascension passive
if it helps deciding the character, i don't have any inazuma characters :') thank you in advance!
I don’t know how well xiao and yunjin do since she wouldn’t be buffing plunges? However if she’s c4+ i can see why you’d use her and I’m sure you have other reasons
Solooo a DPS xiao, 4pc noblesse aloy, and you don’t want anemo/cryo/geo. That really only leaves electro or hydro. For Sub dps there’s a pretty wide range.

Electro:
- raiden (battery for xiao and great burst dmg, can fill in xiaos ult down time if needed)
- fischl (off field dmg, quite easy to build)
- electro traveller
- beidou (off field dmg, etc)
- kujou Sara (buffs, etc)
- keqing wouldn’t work here because you’re looking for a sub dps. Realistically, she’d be taking up too much time to stay valuable and would just be taking away from your xiao
- Lisa (off field dmg i guess?? I wouldn’t really recommend her here)
- Yae Miko (great off field and burst dmg)
- Razor (same case as Keqing, I wouldn’t recommend bc he’s meant to be played as a main dps which we aren’t looking for here. Would just be taking away from xiao)
Hydro:
- Xinqiu (good dmg, lots of build options, off field dmg, miiight proc freeze with aloy? I’m not sure how often that would be able to happen since I’m not that knowledgeable on aloy)
- Childe (could probably still have a main dps build on him here and just switch between him and xiao as they both have downtime, especially since you seem to not want to have 2 of the same element, so him and xiao are both lacking a battery here. Or, run him as a burst dps)
- Mona (buffs, taunt, can proc a bit of freeze with diona)
- Kokomi and Barbara are kind of a no since you’ve already got diona, and she should be able to cover heals herself. You’ve also specified you’re looking for a sub dps
- Ayato (good dmg, can be played more as a support dps for xiao similarly to Childe and burst will give off field dmg)
I included inazauma characters anyway since I don’t know specifically who you do and don’t have, and for anyone else building a similar team who does have inazauma characters. I hope this helped!! hiya! i was wondering, would 2 piece maiden beloved and 2 piece tenacity of the millelith be good on diona as a shield/healing support? i've heard that noblesse oblige is better but i don't really see why -
2pc Tenacity and 2pc Maidens should be good! However, I’d actually recommend 4pc tenacity over that, since you can just get hp main stats and a healing bonus circlet (if possible? I think they drop on that set but don’t quote me on that). This way you can still stack hp main and sub stats, while also buffing your team with the 4pc :) I hope this helps!!
I use that exact build :D with hp/hp/hb and my diona is a beast at c3 lmao (tho tbf she's 90/90 4/9/9 idr if i crowned her) but she was doing great at c2 80/80 4/8/8 too!! I prefer having 2pc maiden over 4pc tenacity simply bc i like having her more equally balanced but i think 4pc tenacity should be ok to use too :) though you would have to be using her press e instead of hold meaning a weaker shield and she'd take up a bunch of time on field to keep recasting her shield to trigger the effects

Okay I read ToM passive again for the first time in a bit, DONT put that on diona. Like this person said, the buff won’t apply consistently. Basically only charas with pulse skills such as Zhongli and Mona along with any others I’m missing
Hiyo OP! I run a geo trio comp (dps albedo, gorou, zhong, no itto for now) and was wondering who you would suggest for the final spot? Bennett is occupied with my other comp so I was looking for suggestions
(Albedo c1 is running 4pc Husk and r5 Cinnabar, Gorou c2 is running 4pc Exile and r2 Fav, and Zhong c0 is running 4pc Tenacity and r5 Fav)
Honestly if you’re running triple géo and intend to run itto anyway, I’m assuming from the “for now”, you could very well just add a fourth geo. Ningguang, Geo Traveller, Noelle, etc bc I can’t recall if there’s any more. You could also just fill the fourth slot with another buffer such as Mona or Sara, since you said Bennett is occupied, or a character that will make really good use of albedo e like yae.
With such a solid team comp, you can really run whoever else you find flows well with rotations or fills any gaps you’re noticing :)
tried out trial ayato from the vibro event and sobbing at missed chances...... he + albedo and benny work so so well, the madlad kept killing enemies faster than they could load, it was Insane!! probably would be cool w either a jean (pyro swirl w benny) or venti (if,, ayato can reach the Venti Party Ball), or xiangling?? idk team comps much but i do know all i had to do was hit their skills and just stand there, pressing the attack button. no brain necessary it was Exhilarating
Yess! I was guaranteed but didn’t have enough so I wasn’t able to get him but ended up spending money to get ayaka anyway 🧎🧎 I wish I just spent it on him. Honestly I haven’t paid much attention to ayato comps and such since I’m salty, but he was really satisfying in the event for sure! All I know is that Yunjin buffs him 🧑🦯🧑🦯
