Here's my piece for the "Seasons of Gensokyo" zine! It's a piece about Seiran landing on earth and dithering between staying there and trying to get back to the moon, while being telepathically linked to Reisen. It's not as action-packed as that might suggest but I might write a continuation~

Four Suits, Four Seasons
My piece for @gensokyozine this year. I hope you enjoy.
SEASONS OF GENSOKYO: KOKORO PLAYING IN THE AUTUMN LEAVES
This is the second piece I made for Seasons of Gensokyo! (@gensokyozine) After making my first piece with Yuuka, I was considering making another piece, and was alerted on the groupchat for the zine that Kokoro didn't have a piece made for her! I sadly am not ultra familiar with her so I read over her wiki article and decided what to do. Since a big part of her seemed to be showing a neutral expression even while experiencing strong emotions (autistic icon, just like me frfr), and she seemed kind of childlike, I wanted to draw her doing something fun and childish with her neutral expression but holding a mask of joy.
It's just meant to be a cute and fun little piece, nothing particularly deep. I drew out the leaves on the ground in a very similar way to the flowers on Yuuka's piece: they took a while, though not quite as long. I also made some alts based on the characters who try and help her during the plot of Hopeless Masquerade! The Byakuren themed alt is based slightly on an actual alt from her fighting game appearances, but the Miko and Mamizou ones are made from the ground up. I read up on the plot of 13.5 on the wiki, but really ought to play it soon! Kokoro's cute so that's excuse enough.
