"That’s where I come in. I can take you to a completely different world so that your leader won’t ever make you destroy something you don’t want to ever again. Of course, you can say no, but think about it for a little. I’ll gladly help build you a home in Minecraftia if you want to live there."

Chaos nuzzles against one leg because cats.

"You seem like you’re really nice but put into a job you don’t like."

He let out a small hum. "I appreciate the offer, feline, but I would much rather stay with my leader and comrades... my family..."

Sun Star looked down to Chaos with a small smile. "You are far too kind... but you should not be here. It is too close to our base and no one is supposed to know of our whereabouts."

"Though… a lot of the time, the Pigmasks’ purpose shines through me. I bring destruction and havoc more times than I’d like to admit, sadly. I’m trying to get better and be nice to people, I really am!"

This kitty seems desperate for some reason…

"But at least I have a good indicator of when I go crazy. The crystal on my forehead glows orange when I go off and destroy everything in my path of killing all humans."

"There lies a fundamental difference for us," Sun Star stated with finality, moving to get up. "You can control your destruction, and it is not your true purpose… but my only purpose — the only reason I exist, is to cause destruction of worlds…"

The chimera follows after him. Something about Sun Star makes her want to know more…

"But can’t you change that? I have a friend, Jack, who’s just about the same. It broke free of a dictator’s control and now it fights against him."

"If I go against my leader's orders, I fear to think of what will happen to me," he murmured, keeping his head low. It terrified him to think that he could be locked away again; even though the first time it wasn't his fault, but... as a punishment...?

He wouldn't be able to live with himself like that; not again.

"Well, neither am I. My home planet is all dead, sadly. People were stupid and polluted my Earth so badly that everything died, right down to the bacteria and protozoa."

Chaos shakes her head to clear away that memory of her dead world…

"But my world and dimension travelling ability was something I gained as I lost my humanity."

He stayed silent for a while after the fact, his body heaving some as he let out a small sigh. It was clear there was a lot on his mind.

"… what is your purpose, feline?"

"Well, as a human I wanted to save my homeworld. As a hybrid, Aperture wanted me to look weird for investors. As a chimera… The Pigmasks wanted me to be a mindless drone. Ever since I broke free, I vowed to save at least one world from my homeword’s fate and to protect anyone who can call me their friend."

She gives a sweet little smile. There’s some patches of fur burnt completely off of her.

"It leads to me almost dying a lot, but I get out of death some way or another."

"I see..." He seemed almost saddened by that bit of information.

"You are meant to save... and I am meant to bring destruction..."

She tilts her head. This mechanical didn’t react with so much than to give a passing glance at her, despite her cybernetics AND purple fur? Well, this one will probably make a wonderful friend already! Her calm alto tone sweetens a little.

"What’s your name?"

He blinked, this time looking down to the feline and holding his gaze there. He seemed as though he was made from some ancient and foreign technology… but his overall demeanor screamed that he was still a child.

"… Y-You mean me…? I… I am Sun Star…"

"Yeah I mean you. I don’t see any other lifeforms I could be talking to at the moment."

The kitty giggles a little bit as she sits down in front of Sun Star.

"My name is Chaos. I travel around a lot, but I haven’t seen anyone like you quite yet."

"I am not from this planet," he explained, looking back down to his lap. "I am from a faraway planet, having come to Earth by Te--"

He stopped himself, knowing that revealing too much could get him into trouble. "... by my leader's orders."

Sun Star was resting by the river, as he normally did when he had any kind of spare time… which, as of recently, was quite a bit of time, seeing as they were currently bickering about the current state of their leader Terra.

He heaved out a sigh, not even noticing the small feline that was either daring or foolish enough to approach him…

The curious purple chimera spotted Sun Star from far away. She notes with her optics that he’s a mechanical… and mechanicals are generally nice to her. They don’t freak out about the cybernetics and talking NEARLY as much as organics do.

She crawls up at his side, a safe distance away, so that she could investigate farther.

The Stardroid pulled up some pieces of grass from the ground, a small sigh escaping as he fiddled with them. It was so interesting to see something that was so small be so resilient to any kind of ware…

He didn’t know if he was talking about the blades of grass held in between his fingers, or the planet Earth in general.

He let out another sigh, bowing his head as the blades of grass slipped out from his grasp, landing in the river before him and quickly moving downstream.

The feline continues to gaze with her orange optics. A mechanical idly playing with grass…? That’s a new one for her. Normally they’re walking about or doing something other than seem… peaceful.

She decides to take her queue to enter as the blades of grass hit the river’s surface.

"Hello there…"

Sun Star blinked, looking around to try and find the source of the voice but not seeing anything other than the small feline. He idly goes back to playing with the blades of grass around him.

"I... must be hearing things," he muttered to himself, not knowing that it was the cat next to him that had spoken.

He couldn’t help but smile, reaching out a hand and scratching behind the feline ‘bot’s ears. "I have missed your purring, Pluto. It is so soothing."

Keeping his eyes closed he made the purring more audible continuing to push up against him. His head came up pushing against the fingers with pleasure. “Mmmm that feels purrrrfect… You can just continue doing that…"

He chuckled some, continuing to scratch the ears. "I was not planning on doing anything else for a while, Pluto. I am just glad that you are alright as well."

"Rrrright back at you Sun~" He planted himself next to Sunstar, facing the same direction. Still not bothering to open his eyes he kept his head tilted towards the hand. “Are you gonna stay with us then?"

It would be fantastic if he could! It would be one more body to curl up against, and another mouth to feed, meaning there would be more hunting to do for him! Today was turning out to be pretty great after all.

"I... I suppose since I have nowhere else to go, then I shall stay with you."

Even though there were those whom he was dreading meeting again, he had a feeling that overall the experience would greatly outweigh the fears.

He started to shake a bit, a tear seeming to form in his eyes. "I... I fear you because you locked me away and... I am afraid of it happening again..."

He stared up in disbelief, blinking. He hadn’t done a thing after locking the doomsday weapon away. In fact, it was the other way around the whole time! What was going on?
