If you're writing 18th century dialogue, this website lets you search words and phrases to double-check whether they were in use & meant what you intend. It doesn't include every period-accurate use of a word/phrase, but it certainly helped me separate genuine 18th century grammar from the vague tangle of 💬old-fashioned fancy-speak💬 I've internalized from TV and video games.

Honestly… I've reached a point of disgust and despair that I can't hide anymore.. 💔💔

Finishing some stuff I had on my files, so I'm dumping here what I've managed to complete 👏🏼👏🏼 I worked on them on and off so, if the style, line work or colouring looks different, that's why.

All this began with the idea of doing the "neuron activation" bit with my Warden (Lara). Naturally, I couldn't leave it there so I practiced some background styling.

Some more meme adaptations, the one about the Fade had me gripping my pen because of the textures, but hey, we did it.

I started watching Frieren at this time, so I did a screenshot redraw, while also experimenting with the mood of the piece via temperature.

Wanted to draw some of the cast in a cutesy style, to figure out the base palette for each character for future reference.

And sketched and coloured some outfit variants for Lara, nothing permanent or definitive just, thinking about how she would modify stuff to feel comfortable.

I got some more stuff on limbo, not sure when I'll get to them but just know ☝🏽 these blorbos are always on the back of my mind.
