"I just want to say first of all, to receive this award from Alysa, who, you brought me so much happiness and everyone else so much happiness with your performances. And I was so inspired by how much diligence and work and effort and love you have for what you do, and to be receiving Artist of the Year, which is—I love being an artist. I love writing songs more than anything in the world. And I didn't think I was an artist when I first started doing it. It was a hobby. It was a hobby, and then it was my favorite hobby, and then it was what I would rush home from school to do, just, 'I can't wait to get back to my guitar, in my room, and write a song.' And I just want to say like, when I was 12 years old, I had the luxury of spending thousands of hours working at my craft, practicing, making mistakes through trial and error, and that was all completely unobserved, right? That was just me and my craft. And I'm looking out into this crowd, and I'm seeing so many ambitious, cool, smart, awesome people who have dreams, and we live in this world where there's so much immediate feedback constantly. You get feedback for everything you share with the world now. Everything you post, you get feedback, whether it's good or bad or whatever. I just want to say, if I had one hope for you, I would say I hope that you get to nurture your hobby and your passion just between you and that craft, and you give yourself time. Give yourself time to make mistakes, give yourself time to hone your craft. I'm a firm believer that anything you feed your mind, it will internalize; anything you feed the internet, it will attempt to kill. And I don't want that for your dreams. So just, thank you for allowing me to turn my hobby into a love, into a passion, into a dream, into a career. Thank you for allowing me to have it this long. And I wish you the best with everything you do. Thank you so much for this amazing, amazing night."

imagine how hard you have to fuck up to go from having things like “i take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover” written about you to being portrayed as a literal rock in a music video
Travis Kelce joking about breaking Taylor's chair during the New Heights podcast:
''I broke Taylor's chair with the weight I gained from her sourdough. Good gut health, though.''

obsessed with her just sort of showing up on his doorstep like messy and heaving. that’s just how it was gonna be huh
The opalite picture isn’t new - it’s from her Better Man performance at the Bluebird Cafe
no it isn’t, she’s wearing her engagement ring
perfect. amazing. show stopping. classic.

just as god intended
it actually made me laugh out loud when andrea was like "what has travis brought to this tour? well first of all, he brought himself onto the stage on this tour"
andrea is a hoot and a half
sooo many people drank her kool aid and I understand why taylor approached it that way but things like your partner of 6 years not showing up to opening night of the biggest moment of your career thus far was not normal, being private is normal but privacy to the point where there are no photos of taylor with joe together shared by friends we would have to search for strands of her hair or her arm??? lol like no wonder she felt like a conglomerate not a human. believing she was a horrible person who would raise rotten children and therefore not leave them anything that is hers like it’s crazy.
yeah, i grapple with this a lot, but i’d always rather take her at her word than be critical dan situation i’m not in. there are a few things that always bothered me that i overlooked because nothing is perfect, but it is what it is. with that said, the last thing you said is probably the most unforgivable to me. how did he just let that belief fester? is that why she didn’t feel ready for kids?
Why do u think she mashed up maroon so often? I like the song but why is this song sooo significant?
to me, maroon is like THE bridge between everything that happened with jake and everything that was happening with joe
parenting commitment level 3000
apparently a requirement for working at poison control is a talent for stand-up comedy
finally caught up with the doc and it's killing me that andrea was like "ok so this guy is not your type whatsoever but your type of guy has made you miserable so how about you date this locally sourced football player who could be into arts and crafts for you" and now taylor's engaged to him
