It’s a Bo.......RIP, its a pair of girls

It’s a boy! It’s a boy! Oh… wait…..It’s a girl. In fact there are two of them and no boy. It’s a little sad that one of them wasn’t a boy, but I’m still happy. They are so cute, and make the nicest cries. So this is what it feels like being a father, it’s a great feeling. We deiced to name the older one Agathe and the younger one Dana. If you are wonder about Johanna, she’s doing fine. She is a little tired after giving birth, but nothing to serious. I got Johnathan to look at the girls to see if they were healthy and he said they were so I’m hoping they will do fine. Since they girls are born and the harvest season is over I, I sold the yield that we got to the market and bought some warmer clothes and blankets, as well as a large amount of firewood. I really don’t have much to write about since I’m busy taking care of the kids. *cries* I got to go and help out Johanna now bye.

Wow, I am so happy that you were able to get a pair of girls. After my daughter got married and the other died I haven’t been happy. Gladly, we have a new kid that we love with all of our hearts. I hope that you will also be able to stay happy with two girls. I wish you the best of luck with your pair of girls

My “Daily” Update 4

Hey guys, it is December 15, 1730, today is the day that my sons have come back home. We could not have been more proud of my sons, who finally sold all the tobacco without me. They brought back heaps of money, for me to buy new land and slaves. Without them, I don’t know what I would do. Also while they were gone Matilda, had another successful baby. Her name is Agnes, she is such a cute bundle of joy. We were so happy when she came into this world, that we didn’t know we could be after the deaths of Thomas and Anne. She is going to be the happiness in our lives.

My “Daily” Update 3

Hey guys, it is July 26, 1730. It is finally harvesting season, our hundreds of acres are finally going to be harvested starting today and probably lasting from like two weeks. My eldest sons will be conducting much of the trade with Britain. John and William are both responsible enough to go without me this year. They will still be accompanied by my advisors, but they will take many ships to trade. Also, my son Thomas will be joining his elder brothers in this trade, he will take care of some minor tasks and will learn how to trade with and between the British. We shall earn a lot of money from this and we will trade for a lot of different supplies and materials. We will further be able to increase the number of slaves we have and will be able to acquire new land to farm more tobacco.

This the ship we will be using to trade in a couple of weeks. I can’t wait until the tobacco is fully grown and healthy. Also, it’s going to be the first time my son Thomas will be joining us in the trade.

My Daily Update 2

Well, guys, it is June 12, 1730, it is a sad day today. Not only did my daughter Anne die a couple of weeks ago, but also my son Richard died today. He was infected by his sister Anne. They both have died and my family is extremely sad. The good news is that Matilda is finally pregnant again, it looks like she is 5 months pregnant. She is both happy, and sad today. All I can hope is that she will feel better today because our past few attempts have been unsuccessful. I hope you guys reading this are better than us today. Hopefully, we will soon be happy when the tobacco crops fully grow out.

I was introduced to this new delicacy by one of my friends. He told me that this is a great way to start your day. He told me the name of it is coffee, it is just like tea but very different. It wakes you up in the morning and boosts you throughout the day.

My Daily Update

It is April 15, 1730, it is time to start planting Tobacco. My slaves are all working on this labor-intensive task. Today and tomorrow are dedicated to this task. After this, we will be tending to the crops, to give me a great profit this harvest season. My daughter Mary, turned 16 a week ago, we will soon be marrying her off to the son of another plantation owner. His name is Joseph Clark, he is 27 years old. Also, my son Thomas is finally learning how to hunt and take care of business from his older brothers. Anne is currently very sick, we think she is down with the fever, and she may or may not survive. Hopefully, she gets better over the weeks. Anyways see you guys next time.

All About Me

Hey guys, thanks for joining into my blog post. My name is George Abraham, I am a wealthy plantation owner, from Virginia. I am some of the richest people out here and I have many farms. I have 7 children, they are named (oldest to youngest), John, William, Mary, Thomas, Jane, Richard, Anne. These kids were the best present I have ever received. Me and my wife, Matilda, love these kids, they are all angels. The kids have really great futures ahead, Mary is going to be marrying a man when she turns 16 years old. She will be missed by everyone in our family.

My plantation is doing great, we are currently buying up slaves from the auctions. Most of my indentured slaves are being replaced by my new slaves. I can finally have my workers be with me for life. They have to do a lot of work, from tending to my favorite crop, tobacco, or other crops. My slaves all have to work from sunrise to sunset. The last one of my indentured servants all make food for my family, they also clean up my house. Anyways guys, see you next time in my next update.
