A lot of people are against autism speaks because they're anti-vax, say that autistic kids are burdens to their families, say that if your kid is autistic before they're born then they should be aborted and have very few or no autistic employees. And very few donations actually go into helping families with autistic members, and instead most money goes into 'curing' autism (although this is impossible because autism is literally the way the brain is wired).

Hey followers. Can somebody who is aware of the argument against Autism Speaks help me out? I'm not sure why people are not for it, but I'd like to hear the side to the story. If someone could drop by my ask and explain, groovy. My work is fundraising a lot for Austism Speaks, and encouraging us to help out. I'd like to be more educated before I dive in. Thanks!
