Hello everyone! I’ll be at ECCC next week, with two new books! Journey to Stars is a small 28-page mini story I’ve been working on the last two months, while book 1 of Oddity Woods is a con-exclusive edition that will have the first 52 pages of chapter 1. 

I’ll be at table X-13! Here’s a map of the artist alley where I’ll be, along with a ton of other awesome Hiveworks artists.

Do you remember how you first came up with the idea for Solving Xandra? Is there anything you can share about how it has changed since its inception?

Oh man! Well I made the Solving Xandra main cast (minus Xandra) at the start of my Comics 1 class back in fall of 2014. I had NO story in mind at the time, I just needed a cast to use in my assignments. Eventually, a vague plot came to mind after I entered comics 2. “Encounter”, The last short comic that I did in there more or less set the tone for the current Solving Xandra. You can actually READ all the comics from early Solving Xandra on my Tapastic page. I call it PRE Solving Xandra. It’s kind of the best title ever.Here’s a link: https://tapastic.com/episode/130105I guess I don’t have much to say about how it changed since it’s early work is so In View.

Today’s Webcomic Recommendation: Solving Xandra by @georgeobrooks!

Chatterville is dealing with ALOT of strange happenings, including an unexpected crater, weird weather, and… giraffe attacks. 

Nash suspects the only one who can give him answers is a woman that just keeps disappearing whom no one remembers. What is going on in this town?

Solving Xandra is so far an extremely amusing comic that is building up a strange world which I can’t wait to see more of!
