Y’all will advocate for minors until they speak up about sexualization of minors in fandoms, especially the ones that cater to their own age group/demographic (example, MY Little Pony or any Disney movie). Y’all will say minors should be respected and their voices heard until they express their discomfort with how adults in these fandoms act. It’s “kids need to be protected” until those kids don’t agree with what adults are doing to them, and then suddenly it’s “ugh I hate minors! Fuck these puritans! Stupid kink-shaming vanillas!”.

Im reblogging this quickly from the perspective of a fan content creator because there’s been plenty of times, today included, where people have liked and reblogged things that are years old. I want to say that THAT IS 100% OKAY. I made a master post for a reason, and if y'all read something and it’s years old, but you still like it then I encourage you to reblog it. Even reblogs of old things help me out, and you never know if you’ll introduce one of your followers to my content as well.

Plus, it always makes me feel so warm and happy to see a list of reblogs through the day from the same person. It gives me such a huge confidence boost that if people find my old stuff enjoyable, then my new stuff must still be good too.
