I made a baby blanket for a pregnant woman at work and I went back and forth about it like “is this weird? To like hand make something for someone when we’re like friendly acquaintances not like bffs. God why are you so fucking awkward.” Anyway I gave it to her and she said she loved it and in the back of my head I’m like yea she’s nice and probably just humoring the weirdo. Well she texted me a picture this weekend of a scrunchy faced newborn at the hospital wrapped in the blanket I made her. And I’m like. Wow. She loved it so much she took it with her! To the hospital! To give birth! She wrapped her newborn it! I am just so filled with love and joy right now.

People will love the things you make them. Because you thought of them and you cared.

big spoilers n that

don’t get me wrong i am so happy octavia didn’t die, but how is it that her ‘death’ is heroic and awesome and she survives, yet lexa’s was pointless and soulcrushing and of course she can’t survive. I mean she could have at least got shot jumping in front of clarke, then it would’ve meant something.

Also just comparing their injuries, sure a bullet in the gut is probably worse than a stabbing, but considering how far octavia fell, she must have been more injured, yet survives by herself and gets on a horse, lexa has medical attention (ish) and somehow dies ;-;

Michael Beach is a pretty great actor - his portrayal of Pike made him one of my all time most hated tv show characters

ofc it may also be down to the script and writers but his hatred of the grounders was played so well and made me hate him so much

octavia is so my fav character (i’d say by far but lexa is a close second)

I think mainly just bc she acts how i hope i would in the situations and ofc is badass as hell

not saying i always agreed with her, the tondc thing had to be done and clarke shouldn’t be blamed but overall she’s still my fav character throughout the entire show
