I think what I really love about OFMD is that David Jenkins and his team make viewers trust them. Don’t worry, we got this; we have your back. It’s not empty promises—the way they delivered S1 makes you trust them. That’s also the reason I don’t get sick of restarting episode 1 after the credits start rolling at the end of episode 10: ultimately, it’s a happy show and it makes me, the viewer, happy. There’s no will-they-won’t-they, no shipping wars, no queerbaiting. There’s no uncertainty. Sure, the season doesn’t end on a happy note but I was satisfied with it. More importantly, I have no doubts that the lovers will find their way back to each other. Even if I don’t know how we’ll get from point A to point Ed. The how is their pull, not the what. I’m not concerned with what happens in the end (because I know it’ll be Ed and Stede happy together), I’m just here to enjoy the ride. And my god am I enjoying it.

this is so interesting, because I have OCD and an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation, and those things are 100% related. when my immunosuppressant meds are working, my OCD stops. and when I’m unmedicated it’s like my brain is on fire. the one time I actually saw a doctor for my OCD and went through multiple sessions for it, it was allllll about breaking habits and learning self control, and would you believe it, it didn’t help one bit.

I love the feeling of rain that the noise evokes. I love how the cars are in the foreground but aren’t as visible and it really feels like this moment is all about him.

as a studio arts major with a concentration on printmaking, it's absolutely how a lino print is supposed to look! it's very playful and your lines are clear and identifiable. The mountains and cars are particularly well done, skill wise and stylistically.

I love how the power lines have become bird like, which is a creative flip on birds usually sitting on said power lines. ALL mistakes are happy mistakes, you made something wonderful and you shouldn't put your work down. If you don't give your art confidence, who will?

I mean I have a master's in graphic arts and our prof always told us we have to print lino on smooth paper, so the prints would come out very clear, she wouldn't be happy with me using texture haha. but I suppose her methods aren't universal! I'm glad you like it :) thank you!!

Monitoring the changing of the seasons via mozzarella
