Cebit 2013: Smartphone becomes a door opener

One major point on this year`s Cebit is the fusion of smartphones. The Fraunhofer Institute have told that they want to replace the smartcards with smartphones which includes a NFC chip and a key code. So you don`t longer need a lot of plastic cards for the work, car sharing or the hotel, your phone does it all. Beyond this you can conveniently send your key codes via Mail, SMS or Qr code.

The "Deutsche Bahn" upgrades their new ICx trains

The Bahn upgrades their ICE successor ICx with additional 600 Million Euros, according to the newspaper Bild. Now they planned 12 instead of ten waggons for 830 persons. Beyond there is more space in the aisles of the second class, eg for strollers, and more space for luggage. Also new: A lighting concept that adapts to the times of the day. In the morning the waggon is bathed in yellow light, it glows blue at noon, evening red. The up to 220 trains for around EUR 6 billion in 2016 are used as a replacement for ICs/ ECs.

From Mid-January 2013 Ritter will begin the saison with three limited sorts with a fresh packaging design. This year the variations called "Cocoa Splits" and the new ones "Cookies & Cream" and "à la Crema Catalana". This is where cocoa flavoured cookies meets vanilla cream and milk chocolate meets caramel cream.

The sorts of the saison are available from the middle of January till the middle of April 2013 as 100 grams pieces (0,99 €) and in the mixed Mini-Tray (1,59 €).
