'Long now, short skirt'
I am really enjoying the control I have over my film photography, it has taken me back to many years of shooting film before digital was available. I was doubtful about using Fomapan 400 film because I had heard so many bad things about its grain structure etc. but i seem to have hit a good combination with processing it in Ilford DD-X, it is giving me good tonal range and controllable grain structure.
'Indecision!'
One of the things I love about film photography is that it matures in the brain. You take a shot, is it good or is it bad? You have to wait until you have finished the film and it has been developed before you see it. The atmosphere of the moment has gone, so you can judge it in isolation - is it good or is it bad? Decisions! indecisions! Leave it for now, let it mature and then decide.
