How does blue just get better after every listen. Haven’t heard the full album in MONTHS but listening to it now? Just as charming and gorgeous and powerful as it was when i first heard it. If not more.
Also ngl after a couple of years I don’t rlly vibe w pinkerton as much as i did upon listening to it. It’s still a great album but. I can definitely say blue is my favorite weezer album in full confidence. Maybe it’s just that, the lyrics became more distracting to me as i grew older? I first became a big weezer fan when i was thirteen and now I’m just. Older. And yes you can say its an interesting and personal view of rivers’ mind but it doesnt change the fact some lyrics bother me now.
