Eli quietly wondered if he should have come sooner. It was something he’d been TRYING to do, but he’d waited out with the hope that someone would want to help him. A soft sigh tore itself from the man, eyes scanning the road ahead. It really HAD been a long time, hadn’t it?
“Sounds like a plan….” He murmured, tapping his fingers on the steering wheel. “’bout how much longer, then, boss?” He glanced over, brow twitching slightly. “N’ when I get the food, what do you want?”
“I don’t care what you get. I’ll eat anything right now– even cabeza y sesos.” You answer as you limp off from the truck in search of a van or something– anything, really. Crossing the street to the truck stop, you settle for a few minutes, planning out your attack.
It’s mostly over before it starts– the man left the passenger door unlocked. Probably for a hooker or something, not that you care.
Unfortunately, however, due to others being around, you have to kill him quietly in the cab– you do so easily, breaking his neck by separating the vertebrae in it with some hard tugs. Shoving the body off into the passenger side, you start up the truck.
Eli shrugged and got out himself, making his way over to a taco truck.....after tossing a lit match in the window of the vehicle he just exited. Ordering is no problem, he knows what’s good, even when he’s lost in thought. Josh sure had changed, hadn’t he? It made Eli wonder if the man would even want to keep his eager ass around. He sighed softly, heading back to their getaway vehicle. At least he’d ordered soda, too! Joshua was probably thirsty.
“Oi, boss! Got the goods...” He held up the soda and bags of takeout, hoping this offering would pacify the man a little more. Sure, they were running from the police, but he felt rather calm. The prison break had been a bit more heart-pounding, and it felt like Joshua had a good enough plan that he had nothing to fear.
