As much as all these late night practices aided Neil in strengthening his form, some nights he felt so incredibly drained of energy that by the end of them he almost cursed his own resolve.

hi i know this is super random but i was wondering if you ever drew sketches of any of the other characters in the foxhole court ? i was stalking you blog when i saw you drawing of neil and i was shook ! it was so different and yet i couldn't see neil as any other way !! i was just curious if you had any small sketches or unfinished pieces of the characters though im mostly curious as to hiw you envision andrew

Hey there! I’ve been saving this ask so I could give it some time, but to answer your question, I haven’t before but I do have pretty strong opinions on Andrew’s face.

I like a blockier andrew, with a shorter nose and wider jaw. The kind of short nose that could make a kid look really mean if he wanted to, and maybe just a little bit snobbish. It fits with my mental image of him and with the sport (more like hockey but y’know, in more dimensions). Also I think of him looking just a little more average compared to Neil.

Might not have conveyed myself fully in the sketch below but i feel like it looks close.

AU where Bee owns a flower shop and Andrew and Renee work at it.

Neil comes in and pick out a bouquet and without missing a beat when asked what he wants on the card says “Congratulations on being such a fucking colossal waste of space and everyone around you’s time you insecure little piece of shit.”

Andrew is immediately intrigued because this is so much more interesting than all of the boring and overdone “Happy anniversary, I love you” bullshit.
