I am still coming up with LORE but I thought of a school in a place that had many latinos around. The school is quite enthusiastic about Exy, but they aren't diehard fans as the Ravens fans were, let's say. People touch grass from time to time... Liam is just one of many players, but with the advantage that he has a rich dad who cares way too much about sports. To Liam that wouldn't be an advantage because he doesn't like exy but he doesn't have anything else going on. He isn't smart enough to get into a college without sports 😑 so essentially, he's dragging his feet and being the bane of his teammate's existance but they can't insult him TOO much because he's actually good as hell. He keeps scoring for his team and they seethe in rage bc hours ago he was being annoying as hell

That is all I got more or less! I know he eventually will enjoy exy and playing w his teammates bc he's a softie at heart
