Gonna do a 6-7 page essay on why the Roman Empire truly collapsed the moment Odoacer sacked Rome.

Tired of hearing about how it lived on through the Byzantines when those chuckleheads let their Western counterpart starve for resources and only barely managed to hold on to it after Justinian annexed it. That, and they were too fucking Greek and didn’t even believe the patriarch from Rome should rule over all of Christendom contributing to the schism.
