Oh, hey.

It's been almost 7 months since I've been in here. I don't know if anyone even uses this shit anymore. Here's what's happened since March.

1. Had my baby! Ireland was born on Friday the 13th. She's perfect and looks just like Jensen. She turned 6 months on 13th. She's crawling, teething, and pulling herself into standing position.

2. I quit my job. Because of Covid-19 and Jensen's heart condition, there was no way either one of us could go back to school. Florida schools are a hot mess and are not safe, at all.

3. I got hired at my districts virtual school for this school year, which is nice. Jen also goes there now, so we're both home all year.

4. I started my doctorate. So, in 3(ish) years, I'll be Ed.D.

Life is wild. What've y'all been up to since the world fell apart?

38 + 3 weeks

So, blood pressure is still high. I have an appointment on Thursday, which is exactly 39 weeks. I’m mentally preparing myself to be told at that appointment that they’re moving my c-section up a week.

So, maybe she’ll be here 3/6 instead of 3/13. This doesn’t work with my sub plans and maternity leave plans, but whatever.

38 weeks today. My blood pressure was high, so we’ll see if I actually make it to my scheduled c-section on 3/13.

My grandfather passed away on 2/18 of pancreatic cancer. He was an awesome man and I’m just real sad about it.

Having a hard time today. Life is rough sometimes, man.

July 2010, I answered a Craigslist add for a front desk receptionist at a tattoo shop. I just needed an easy job because I was starting at university.

In September of 2011, some of the tattooers and I went out drinking, which led to me dating one of them.

Flash forward 8 years later, we’re married with a 5 year old and one on the way!

I went a month ago, but they said her heart was still too small to really see and was too early.

So, tomorrow is the actual echo. So stressed. Hoping for the best.
