I’ll try not to make this post too long because, honestly, I don’t really care that much about this topic.

First of all, so many celebrities and streamers have done gambling-related sponsorships or ads. Drake, Kevin Hart, Druski, and plenty of others have, yet nobody really bats an eye. But when Timothée does it? Suddenly it’s, “OMG, we have to cancel him,” “He’s demonic,” or “He sold his soul.” The double standard is pretty obvious.

Also, Timmy likes sports, if you didn’t know, so why wouldn’t he do the ad? It’s a sports betting commercial. You can disagree with it, but it’s not exactly shocking that he’d take the opportunity.

And to the people saying, “He’s promoting gambling addictions 🥺”… no, he isn’t. It’s a one-minute commercial. Nobody is forcing you to gamble. At the end of the day, you’re responsible for how you spend your own money. A celebrity you don’t know isn’t making your financial decisions for you.

I also don’t think there was any malicious intent behind it. At the end of the day, it’s an advertisement, and yes—a bag is a bag. You don’t have to like it, but acting like this is the worst thing a celebrity has ever done is a huge stretch.

There are celebrities doing far worse things, yet this is what everyone’s choosing to lose their minds over? Really?

I honestly think the reaction to Timothée Chalamet’s comment about ballet and opera is being blown way out of proportion (like anytime he voices an opinion).He didn’t attack dancers or performers he was talking about how modern audiences don’t always pay attention to those art forms as much anymore.

It’s also ironic because his mom, Nicole Flender, was a dancer, so he clearly grew up around the performing arts.

A lot of the people getting mad online probably don’t even follow ballet or opera themselves. It just feels like people wanted a another reason to criticize him. This situation honestly shows how easily opinions get twisted on the internet.

This whole thing will probably be old news by next weekend. People are overreacting, like always.

My opinion on Marty supreme 🏓

Honestly, I’d give this movie 10/10. It was fast-paced, never boring, and I really connected with both Rachel and Marty’s characters. Marty isn’t a villain, and he’s not a “perfect good guy” either he’s just human. He’s flawed, ambitious, and dream-driven, but he’s not intentionally trying to hurt or take advantage of anyone.

What I loved most was the ending. It shows real growth: he chooses to see Rachel and his child, and the tears he sheds felt like happy, emotional realization, not regret. It felt like Marty finally understood what truly matters.

I also loved how his character isn’t always serious. He’s funny, chaotic, and playful, which makes him feel alive and relatable. He has feelings, depth, and a humor that balances his ambition.

Overall, Marty isn’t perfect, but he’s real — messy, ambitious, funny, and capable of growth. That’s what made the movie so engaging to me.

And honestly, I know some people dislike him or hate the movie bc of his character, and that’s fine. Everyone has their own perspective, and no interpretation is “wrong.” Nobody is right or wrong, and there really isn’t a single “correct” meaning it’s all up to you.

But yeah, that’s what I really wanted to say. No anger or debate. Everyone’s opinion is valid.
