" A grin appears on Ren’s face, quite pleased with the fact that Soeun did not put up a fight in regards to his suggestion of skipping class. He was quite glad that she was hungry because as much as he wasn’t in the mood to have a meal alone. In fact, it had been a long time since he had hung-out with a friend being loaded with both modeling jobs and schoolwork. "

" How does Dongdaemun sound? ". The night market was one of  the model’s favorite to go to places. It wasn’t the most glamorous place and he knew a handful of people who weren’t fond of it but the night market had a certain charm that he liked. Who was he to pass up a place that offered good food in the first place? He rather thought it was the best place they could have food and catch up with each other. "

"Dongdaemun?" Soeun repeated as a question, the sounds rolling off her tongue in a thoughtful manner. It had been a while since she had visited the night market seeing as she preferred to cook her own meals rather than eat out every so often like other people she knew. But seeing as it didn't sound too bad at the moment and with her stomach threatening to growl again, the shorter girl could only nod in agreement. It's not like she could say 'no' with that grin on his face anyway.

"Sounds good. It's been a while since I ate out with you, so it should be fun." She told him sincerely, wanting to catch up with the taller male as well. Starting to walk off towards the direction of the night market, Soeun motioned the other to follow. "Let's go?"

Sorry, I haven't really been on the past two days. Muse has sort of been down and I've been distracted with graduations and the World Cup >>; But as of now, aside from the plots still available and the messages sent out, I'll be closing Soeun from plotting until all the other plots set for her have been organized. " Like I said, I have it covered " he replied cooly, trying to not let his embarrassment from the earlier incident show. And true enough, Ren was very careful about everything he did. Sure, he had some questionable friends and often danced around the danger zone but he never dared to cross the line.  He’s worked so hard for the past four years and there was no intention of letting all his hard work slip from his grasp so easily.

A frown was appearing on his features as Soeun started to refuse his offer but  changed as soon as he heard a grumble that wasn’t his own stomach. His almost frown disappeared, a smile appearing in its place accompanied by laughter. ” Mhmmm, yeah right ” he teased, rolling his eyes.” Why don’t you just skip? Just this once ” he told her. ” You need to take a break every once in a while “.

If there was one quality that Soeun and Ren both shared, it would be their pride; they were both very stubborn when it came to being right, neither of them liking relenting to the other unless they were truly in the wrong. In a way, Soeun supposes that's how they became friends in the first place, their stubborn attitudes challenging one another which eventually in turn made them open up to each other more. In this case, however, Soeun knew she had lost this battle - her stomach inevitable teaming up against her along with the male before her.

"Don't laugh." She scolded him, though she spoke more out of embarrassment rather than annoyance or anger. Even though this wasn't the first time her stomach had made such a noise in front of Ren, it didn't make the situation any less embarrassing. "Alright, I'll go." She agreed, taking one last glance at the university down the street before sighing and nodding in consent. "Only because it's been a while since we've last talked and I'm starving. Where to?"

♚ Midnight Movie ♚ - KSE & OHY

If there was one thing that Soeun truly hated, it would be her incapability to sleep at normal hours. Almost every night, she would find herself wide awake without reason. She could be up for over eighteen hours straight and she still wouldn't falter from the day's events, even if they were overbearing. However, this isn't to say that Soeun was an active person - not at all. To be honest, she was quite the opposite, being rather quiet and reserved ever since she was a young girl.

Still, it begs the question on how she developed her own case of insomnia. Although it wasn't an extreme case, it bugged her. How she longed to get her full 8+ hours of sleep instead of the three to four she usually gets every night. And with having nothing else to do around midnight, Soeun found herself in a classic movie theater alone - catching the last showing of the night which just so happened to be the over three-hour long box office hit from the '90s, Titanic. Lovely.

Soeun knew it would probably be impossible for her to sit through such a long movie, even she had a limit despite being an insomniac. However, it was enough to keep her busy until she felt ready to leave - not like she would be able to disturb anyone with her being the only one there. It was then she heard the back door suddenly open, the light from the hallway drifting into the theater just barely. A shadow appeared soon after as a figure made its way down towards the lower seats. Although surprised that another actual person actually showed up to the midnight showing, Soeun kept her mouth shut, only glancing at the person for a few seconds before returning her attention back onto the screen. Why did it suddenly feel awkward in here?

"Geez..." The young woman breathed as she hoisted the heavy laundry basket up the polished staircase, making sure she wouldn't trip over herself while doing so. Now, it's not often that Soeun would find herself mentally complaining about housework, especially when it was one of the major parts of her job description. However, what seemed odd to Soeun was how much laundry there seemed be today compared to the other days she worked. She also managed to notice how most of these clothes were men's clothes, ones she knew for sure weren't in the laundry room the night before.

Huffing softly at this revelation and having a hunch on who the culprit was, Soeun walked down the hallway until she stopped in front of two familiar doors. Seeing that it was just a little after 10 am, Soeun hoped that the younger male on the other side of the door had woken himself up for a change so she wouldn't feel forced to wake him up herself. Pursing her lips together and holding the laundry basket under one of her arms, Soeun knocked briefly on the door - listening for any signs of movement from the other side.

"Taehyung-ssi..." She called out to him. Though she knew any other housemaid would refer to the son of the household as 'young master,' Soeun inwardly cringed at the word - unable to bring herself to say such a thing. She might have been hired help, but she did have her pride. "Taehyung-ssi... Are you awake?"
