and my second piece for this years 12th perigee ball!!! featuring @asks-n-trolls's Murkox in an outfit inspired by Ouroboros. i had a lot of fun trying to do the snake skin print hehe

once again this outfit was for @12thperigeeballdesigner and was designed in-universe by Etoile :] <333

my first piece for this years 12th perigee ball!! @contrastparadoxx's Contra Laurae in a dress inspired by Astrolabes & the Alternian sky. the centerpiece symbology features Alternia and its moons :]

lory and gus for the ball!! theyre the norse gods Freyja and Loki, respectively.

outfit info under cuts if youre curious abt insp and stuff! also full version of lorys train

lorys fit:

the (magic) falcon feather cloak as Freyja is described to wear

cat head collar pins for the cats that pull Freyjas chariot

boar on the belt because Freyja is said to ride a boar

pendant referencing The Necklace of Brisings

gold tear makeup; Freyja was said to have cried golden tears for her husband Odd when he passed.

shes also just the goddess of gold so. gold everything

the circle with the dot in the middle is also the alchemical symbol for gold (as well as the sun, but shhh!)

and gusss and u can see his whole fit so i dont need to repost

loki has a lot less blatant physical descriptions since hes a shapeshifter so a lot of this is just inspired by norse dress with some loki symbolism :)

obviously the snakes on his tunic

lots of green and yellow and gold which are all colors associated with loki!

the lines are painted on scars -- loki is often depicted with scars around his lips in reference to when the sons of Ivaldi sewed his mouth shut

also i found out loki is associated with mistletoe! so thats whats tucked behind his ears / in his horns :)
