A Wallflower & A Brick Wall
Used to be a wallflower.
Used to be a brick wall.
You see, I thought I should totally NOT BECOME ANY OF THESE!
But then while I seek to know the answer.
As the answer seemed to be too incomprehensible, enigmatic…
I searched further.
I changed, tried hardest.
I adapted, tried everything.
Erased the wallflower and brick wall in me.
Burned them to ashes.
But these ashes just danced with the wind.
Formed back together again.
Reunited. Reformed but of the same kind.
Inevitably, breathing them in again.
Back into my system.
And so the cycle continues.
But this time, I knew the answer has been:
Yes!You are a wallflower & a brick wall and shall remain to be.
Need not fret!
You see, the problem with you is, you made them your worst enemy not your greatest friend.
On wallflowers:
You should have known that sometimes, not being noticed isn’t really bad at all. You didn’t need to always justify your existence to a judgemental society. That being on the sidelines means, you get to see the world as it is. How people danced their way to just get noticed. How people can be too beautiful and ugly. How to be loved and what made them unloveable. So you see, wallflowers can be the best they can be just by observing, accepting and learning!
“You see things. You keep quiet about them and you understand”
-Perks of Being a Wallflower
On brick walls:
Building a wall is never a worst thing to do neither a brick wall, too. You just need to define the purpose of its existence. You build walls to know your boundaries and to secure your territories. Your essence! You see, walls need not be a bad thing to people who wants to climb over them or just knock on your doors to let them in. Brick walls symbolize strength and stability. But know that brick walls took one small block of brick to keep them up together and form a wall.
Know that you have to take this journey one step at a time, in order to soar higher, build stronger foundation (learnings) & ensure to have a stable & secured future.
Accept your uniqueness, go thru your cracks, accept your weaknesses, then turn them into blessings.
Above all, learn to LOVE yourself so you can share the LOVE that’s overflowing and selfless.
Still, the best reward is, the LOVE from the only One who can satisfy us.
Now, I’m used to being a Wallflower and Brick wall. And I can be truly proud of it!
