I have enough thoughts about WBBA, but if I were to summarize them… yes, WBBA presented as the opposite of the evil Dark Nebula, Hades inc., and so on, but a huge, international company without any fuckups? Really? Especially when it from Japan with its quirky mentality and work ethic and etc.? ?????

I honestly associate WBBA with the necessary evil and that oppressive, uncomfortable feeling of liminality due to the long, empty corridors of offices and the white, artificial light.

It's a scary and unpleasant place inside.

ref/dress is based from that pool episode. I have not encountered a design sheet for this yoshida's particular dress so i took some matters.

the matters being: i had a general idea on what kind of dress this was and i thought it would've been spot on as the setting story is early 2000's. But in the long run, the dress in mind wouldn't fit with how fancy the dinner site and since the anime aired in 2006, producers might tweak a bit of trendy stuff into the production 🤔. So, i guess the dress i really had in mind has got to go.

I really like this russian edition of classic books. Letting famous artists do the covers in YA style was such a simple but clever decision. According to the recent study the number of teenage readers increased, possibly thanks to these covers. I own traditional classics with blank covers but if I ever see one of these in the wild, it’ll probably make me go feral.
