"Oh, I see new peeps are hereā I dig that! Since Tomoko-chanās a grumpy gal, Iām here to salute you all this time. Aināt I nice? Anyways, nameās Franziska. Franzi will do!Ā May be or may not be my real name, eheheh. Anyways, whatās up? You need something? You might want to ask Tomoko if youāre here for computer stuff. My talent is like all the oppositeā"
"⦠But that doesnāt mean I canāt script either, okay? Alright, fire away, people."
"I don't actually expect any sort of splendid greeting considering my job as an inspector. I feel like I should note that bribery wouldn't make me think any better of anyone, including my self. Anyways, you can call me Yamamoto."
Placing one arm over the other, she gave a quirk of an eyebrow at the other.
"I'm not particularly interested in plays and the likes, but I do have to worry about your bandages, Franska-san. I wouldn't want you to get some type of infection."
Yamamoto didn't seem to notice her mispronunciation of the other's name, or simply tried to mask it with the continuing sentences. Ā
A Noble Sacrifice
It had been a simple afternoon, when all around the school, the monitors suddenly kicked on. There had been no warning, and nobody knew what was happening.
Monobearās face appeared on the screen, giving them some instructions.
"REPORT TO THE GYMNASIUM IMMEDIATELY!"

ghealthp replied to your post āYou know, itās kind of amazing how many different social networkingā¦ā
Can I ask what you do?
Iām not too big on all those websites, honestlyā Iām only on a few because itās nice to keep in contact with friends. Facebook, Twitter, my e-mail.. I use well-known things like that.
Theyāre not too confusing once you get used to it.. At least, thatās what happened to me.
I don't care much about social media sites as I don't actually need to use them. What do you even do on it?
Getting back to what I meant, what are a few of the things that you keep yourself occupy with? I'm only asking this because you seem like an interesting person. And that isn't in a positive or negative way, either.
ghealthp replied to your post ā¦I never understood the conceptĆ¢ā¬Ā¦ Of masculineĆ¢ā¬Ā¦ Or feminineĆ¢ā¬Ā¦ And whatā¦ā
A person of the female gender that has qualities that are usually in males.ā
"ā¦Is that not just a femaleā¦? Why must we differentiateā¦? I see no qualities that are gender specificā¦"
"It's a way to categorize people, simple as that. There aren't any personalities that are specific to a certain gender, but it has become a social norm for females to prefer a more passive lifestyle instead of seeking independent action."

Unmei frowned a bit, trying to think of something else to say. This girl sure was quick to end a conversation! Not that she really minded. Who in their right mind wanted to hold a conversation with this girl longer than five minutes? The trial must have been terrible!
"Why did I come to you? To get to know you of course!" She finally rolled off of her bed, rising to her feet and walking over to the girl, her grin growing wider. "I have to get to know everyone before we ultimately die, right!? Doesnāt that seem like the best thing?"
Holding a hand up, she closed her eyes and waved her pointer finger around as she talked. āThe killing has begun, and now that itās started, it will not stop until we find a breakthrough. And that, is not very likely.ā And with that, she wrapped herself around the girlās arm. Touchy.
"That is why I must learn who everyone is now!ā
The only thing helpful she could see from knowing everyone is having more knowledge about how a person would react, but it seemed like it would be more of a trouble than need-be. "I'm glad you're sure that we're going to die, but I have slightly higher standards for my death. Dying above the age of 18 is one of those standards that I've set for myself."
"I wouldn't exactly call it the crescendo, but I'm sure it is close enough for our lives." When the other girl grabbed her arm, a short of anger first swelled through her body, furrowing her brows and clenching her hands into a fist, but it seemed to die rather quickly when she thought it all over. A sigh then came out of her, raising a hand to pet Unemi on the top of her head.
"If you're so sure of it, I guess I could humor you for the time being. For instance, I don't really like physical contact when it's forced on me like so." With saying that, she increased her light petting to more of a bop on top of the other's head that was supposed to discipline her. "I'm sure you understand, right?"

"Iām surprised you are going to let me in! What if I murder you? Arenāt you afraid of that?" Either way, Unmei strolled right into the room, throwing herself right onto the other girlās bed as if it were her own. Manners were.. obviously a problem when it came to her.
Rolling onto her stomach, she propped her head up on her arms, kicking her feet in the air. āSay, Yamamoto-san. I never see you around! Tell me about yourself! As in.. your ability? Mine is probably quite obvious now.ā
"You're not going to lose an arm anytime soon, so what reason do you have to murder me? I can only be paranoid for so long, after all." With one swift movement of her hand, she slammed the door shut and took upon the task of standing and staring at the girl who decided to compromise her bed.
She pulled at the collar of her own shirt, walking closer to her own bed that had a different body on it. This Unmei didn't even bother to ask if she could seat herself on the bed. Taking her eyes of Unmei, primarily her feet, she replied with, "I have an affinity for acids, that's it. I also like yonkoma mangas, which should satisfy any type of personal questions you have for me."
"Is there any other reason on why you decided to come to me specifically?"
Iāve seen a number of good RPers get snubbed by those with canon characters because they play an OC. Itās not like playing someone canon makes you better, Iāve seen some terribly-played canons and some amazing OCs.Ā
Finally, someone who speaks sense.
Why does it really matter? If a person wants to roleplay with just canon characters, thatās fine! If someone wants to roleplay with just OCs, thatās fine! What you have to realize is that people may have had bad experiences with OCs in the past, or they just want to be a very canon blog, and itās not your job to tell them that they are a bad roleplayer because they choose not to. No one ever said it made them better, itās just their choice to want to roleplay with uncanon characters.Ā
It's for the fact that it promotes tighter cliques.
As a person who had an OC in the Homestuck fandom, the only way to really roleplay was to either have a group of friends who had OCs, which was hard if you were new to the fandom, or individually try to find people who would roleplay with your OC. While it seems like a simple task to ask someone if they wanted to roleplay with your OC while they had a canon character, the thought of being rejected was always constant.Ā
Now, I don't actually care whether you roleplay exclusively with OCs or Canon, but saying that it doesn't cause some sort of rift in fandom is slightly downplaying it. Ā Although I have noticed that the DR fandom seems more friendly towards OCs than the HS fandom, which I feel is a good thing.Ā
Although, and this is more personal experience than examining how a fandom personally reacts, I've never understand the reasoning behind having a bad experience with an OC. Everyone is going to have one bad experience with an OC as their are different thoughts to how an OC should function in any type of world.Ā
I wouldn't call you a bad roleplayer if you just roleplay with canon or OCs, but I personally feel like you're limiting yourself with the amount of interactions you could have in both situations.
These are just my two cents, still.Ā

Unmei blinked and stared at the girl for a second, she grinned. āI donāt see that at all! You look like youāre just resting! Not something very time-consuming in my opinion!āĀ
Trying to look around the girl to break into the room, it didnāt seem like it would be possible, so she folded her arms across her chest, proceeding to glare at the girl just as much. āI do not believe we have met! Formally, that is. When I realized that, I came here as fast as I could! Though.. you donāt seem to be very interested in making friends, do you?ā Now, even Unmei wasnāt all that keen on making friends, knowing how it would turn out in the end. One of them, if not both, would die. Itās just setting someone up for a broken heart!
Unfolding her arms, Unmei bowed slightly. āSo, without further ado! Segawa Unmei at your service.ā
"Yeah, it's better than what a few others have done." Quite a vapid remark came from her, but it was her honest opinion on the situation. Plus, she was really bad at trying to make friends in the first place, so it didn't seem like the ideal thing to do for her. Yet, there was something that comes from conversation.
"You slammed on my door like I was some type of murder suspect. That's just about the least formal thing you can do." She gave a small nod to Unmei's question, looking off to the side to avoid that grin of hers. "I wasn't interested in making friends before I came here, so our current situation isn't going to make me a more social person."
Well, at least it seemed like she wouldn't be too horrible. Yamamoto gave a small bow back to her, adding on, "Yamamoto Shinobu." She then took a step to the side in order to let Unmei in her room. "You can come in if you want, Segawa-san. It'd be better than standing out in the hallway and letting our neighbors hear us."Ā
Destined for Friendship! [Closed Starter]
After the trial, Unmei seemed.. completely unphased. When they arrived back in the elevator and arrived back into the first floor of the school, she hadnāt said anything to anyone else and locked herself in her room. Potentially being a primary suspect was hard work! Though it didnāt seem like that would happen anymore, to her at least.
A couple days had passed since then, and Unmei had been out and about as usual, sitting in the cafeteria slumped over at a table, thinking to herself. In a moment of brilliant decision making, she stoop up with the force of gravity and stormed her way to Shinobuās room, knocking on the door furiously.
"I KNOW YOUāRE IN THERE! OPEN THE DOOR!"
Staring at the ceiling, Yamamoto laid on her bed to think to herself. It was quite strange that the first murder was much more of a suicide, but it didn't exactly please her that one of their roommates still lost a limb even when the conditions were met. She sat up, running a hand through her hair. Thinking of all of this would give anyone a migraine.Ā
And then a loud pounding on her door is exactly what she needed. Stuck inside a building and being forced to kill each other was one thing, but having no common courtesy with door knocking was another. A small groan escape her throat as she lifted herself from the bed and slid her jacket back on, one sleeve at a time.
Walking over and opening the door, she gave the rude knocker a hard glare while she leaned slightly to the side. The only thing she said, a rather sarcastic matter, was, "Can't you see I'm busy?"
I'll probably stop going on this blog after this group is done/Yamy is eventually MURDEREDDD. Heck, I'll probably drop out of the whole DR community while I'm at it.
"But⦠But I need all my fingers..!"
"Pastry-based crimes have high consequences. You should have thought about that when you stole those cookies. Now, present your finger."
"You sure..?"
"Yes, you already admitted that you committed the crime, so I'll only cut off a finger."
ghealthp replied to your post:"Illegal? Well, one time I stole some biscuitsā¦
Iām going to cut off your hands and throw you into prison for doing such a heinous crime.
"P-Please do not do that..!"Ā
"I was..."
"..joking."
To add on to this grand topic, all of those with criminal titles should be thrown in prison after graduation. Allowing these criminals to continue walking free would just draw in more criminals, and cause more victims to arise.Ā
Honestly, why the hell would you support their freedom if you know they're just going to cause more trauma to the defenseless citizens of Japan? It's a bit sickening to think about.Ā
Blackhat Trick
Yamamoto sat against a wall, slowly reading a light novel in her hand. She was dressed rather lightly, ditching the jacket she usually wore for a simple dress shirt with a black tie and replacing her boots with black loafers made from leather. She made a small sigh, looking up from her book to peer at the door.Ā
[Body Discovery] An Eye for an Eye
While most students remained in the infirmary, Elliot Landon noticed something about the bearās words. This urged him to leave the room, scouting out the areas available to him. Surely not, right? Maybe it was all in his head.
After exploring a few places, he started to try dorm rooms, and accidentally pushed one of the dorm rooms open. After looking inside, he spun around and walkedĀ rather quickly back to the infirmary, the door already open from before. He let the attention fall to the haunted look in his eyes before speaking.
"Guys, I think you need to see this.."
As some students went to follow them, he lead them to room number 17 in the dorm area, lightly shoving the door open.
