Original Character Ideas for Obey Me!
Angel-esque characters: based around Abrahamic angels (made in hierarchical order.)
(Part I: here. Includes: Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, and Powers
(Part II: Not out yet. Will include: Principalities, Archangels, Angels, and Fallen Angels)
General ideas:
- These aren’t intended to be angel characters, instead they can be used for either angel, demon, or human characters.
- Overall, if these characters were to be in OM, I’d expect them to be apart of the Datables cast, not the Brothers. Not to say they wouldn’t have relations with the brothers, but if they were in-game, they wouldn’t be in that clump.
- I’d recommend their presence in the in-game story would either begin prior to the game’s canon, or they’re somehow a part of the transfer student program.
- These are only ideas that I myself have for an individual character per angel archetype, HOWEVER, I can totally make more characters based on each one—and so can you. I state it at the end of each of my posts but I’ll state it here instead: You are more than welcome to use my ideas for your own creations, either as a guide for your own stories, for your own ocs, or as background characters. All I ask is that if you use a character I have here, please let me know! I love reading what others write and seeing my ideas be used brightens my day.
Seraphim: “The burning ones,” attendants to their god(s), literally used to purify the place or people going into the temple of their god(s). Protection of a sacred place, attending and maintaining the area.
(Physical ideas:) Six wings, fire motifs, singing or music motifs. Groundskeeper or maintenance based design.
- No matter what species the character is, no matter the age, they’re in some top-level position. Could be a business owner, could be management, could be the star student in a class or music group. Alternatively, they could be part of the higher level management in Devildom, maybe they’re a high-level staff at the school. They could also just be a Seraphim.
- I could see this character being your average boss caricature: aloof, little emotional management, constantly overworked and tired, maybe a bit of a pushover, stubborn; but is also extremely intelligent when it comes to others emotions, selfless, and once they’re tired enough, they’re extremely soft and gentle.
- I can imagine Seraphim to be a lightweight when it comes to drinking—they don’t often get the chance to let loose—so whether it’s a single Devildom drink or only two human drinks or whatever, they’re already tipsy, if not fully drunk. Once they’re drunk, too, they get a lot less “humph I’m the boss” and a lot more…drunk. I could see them being either a giggly drunk or an emotional drunk—they’re either laughing their ass off or they’re sobbing because they realized that cats don’t fully understand what kisses mean.
- If they’re an angel, I could see them being super secure about their body. Like, almost to an unimaginable degree, to the point where they don’t fully understand how others get insecure about their own bodies. Not in a bad way, necessarily, they’ll flatly explain everything that’s perfect about their partner or friend or even a stranger, and they mean it with the utmost seriousness you could ever get.
- If they’re a demon, I could see them being the opposite. Insecurities to the max, unable to understand or even envision their own body because of it. This could be because they’re a fallen Seraphim, or it could be because their demonic self simply looks like one, and they grow insecure about the idea of what they could have been. They rarely show their wings—six, magnificently upkept—and it would be a very rainy day before they use them for any sort of reason, such as holding themselves, hiding behind their feathers.
- Another short idea: I could see Seraphim absolutely loving gardening. It’s like their own sacred area they get to protect and tend to without worry of anyone overlooking their progress. Gardening is such an independent activity, almost intimate as they grow life in the ground or in their pots, allowing them to relax a little without the concern of “doing it wrong.” In gardening, if you do it wrong, you just restart. It’s nothing like the working industry.
Cherubim: “Fullness of Wisdom,” literally used to protect sacred areas. They’re described as fearsome gatekeepers and guardians with multiple faces, wings, and eyes. Flaming sword to protect the Tree of Life, support system for chariots and thrones (mobility and power)
(Physical ideas:) Four faces (man, lion, ox, and eagle) with four wings and bodies covered entirely in eyes. Animalistic design? Maybe shapeshifting?
- Is absolutely a bodyguard in some way—demon, angel, or human. I could see this character being a sorcerer if they were a human. Alongside this, I believe Cherubim would also be inclined to hit the books often. Enjoying the process of researching and discovering or understanding a certain topic. They’d be the TA (teaching assistant) of a class, no doubt.
- The actual troupes or traits of this character I could see being a mixed bag—two-sided if you will—with their working persona being a complete brick wall to talk to, all work, no nonsense, doesn’t do anything aside from the job they’re being paid to do. Outside of work? They’re energetic, lively, and definitely hot-tempered. I could see Cherubim being extremely observant, you can’t get past this character at all, with literal eyes in the back of their head.
- I could also imagine this character being extremely sensitive to light and touch. Since Cherubim have eyes everywhere, harsh light hurts them and physical touch—in certain situations, especially if they literally have eyes everywhere in their demon/angel form—can be extremely uncomfortable for them.
- Protective or possessive. This character is absolutely a jealous type, they’re literally a gatekeeper. Any sort of romantic or even platonic relationship with this character means they get nosy about everything and will go out of their way to make sure they’re still at least number three on the ‘favorite demon/angel/human’ list. It’s not necessarily that they’re insecure (but I could argue they totally are), it’s simply how they perceive things.
- Their four faced- and four winged- state of body could be a sore spot for them—especially if three of the four faces truly are animals and they have no control over which one is seen. Despite their insecurity over it, I could see this character masking said insecurities with confidence and almost egotistical ways of talking and holding themselves, and they only discuss it within an intimate, private setting (doesn’t have to be sexual).
- Along with their short temper, I can see them going into this state of form during bad temper spats, physical fights, or really stress-induced scenarios if they’re a demon/angel.
Thrones: Serves as literal conduits of divine justice and cosmic law. Described as the most mysterious and are used as physical supports and living thrones (hence the name). Maintaining the metaphysical balance and moral order of the universe
(Physical ideas:) Appearance of multiple, interlocking golden wheels with their rims covered in countless eyes (symbolizing omniscience and watchfulness), glows. Design holds glowing rings around skin, almost floating movements, support system design (e.g. therapist).
- Haloes are 100% a part of this character’s design and I can totally see them being a higher-up within some sort of justice system. Maybe a judge, maybe a lawyer, or maybe they’re in a different field of the justice system (vigilante?)
- I truly see this character being a very quiet yet very snippy person. They’re quick at comebacks and yet their voice is extremely soft to the point that it usually takes people by surprise if they aren’t close with Throne. Along with this, I can assume that their work makes them extremely polite when in public, meaning that their at-home life or their casual nights out are even more of a turnaround for their snippy, sarcastic, maybe even a bit rude, personality
- Despite their rather blunt (could be defined as unpleasant) personality, they’re a people pleaser. They’re literally built to support others and maintain balance and order. I can see their silence plays into this, in which they often just do things when asked without an agreement, or even if they’re not asked. Such scenarios could be buying another person something they noticed they were eyeing at the market, going out of their way to clean the dishes if the other person dislikes doing it, making tea when someone complains about headaches, buying melatonin gummies for a friend who’s been having trouble sleeping.
- Another one with some insecurities. If this character were to be a human design, I could see the ring designs being a form of vitiligo, birthmarks, or scars (these can also be in an angel or demon design, but in human society, it’s common for these skin differences to be a point of insecurity. The ring designs could also be tattoos–or all four!). If this character has a ring-designed alternative form as a demon or angel, I can only assume there would be a point of contingency with their idea of supporting someone above them and being a literal object without personification (Throne v. throne)
- I could see this character, despite their silent nature, having a voice someone could listen to for hours–reading, singing, humming, whatever. They’re sought out when a baby (do demons and angels have babies? I mean, Luke is a child so…) isn’t sleeping, and Throne can get them to be dozing within mere minutes. Along with this, I believe their body temperature is warm in a very nice way, meaning cuddling would be like being nestled in a soft blanket in front of a fireplace during winter.
Dominions: Managers of the lesser angels/heaven. Humans with feathered wings, usually carrying orbs of light and scepters (or swords). Oversee the universe, guiding stars, regulating physical laws, presiding over destiny, they are the jury
(Physical ideas:) Humans with bird wings, possibly multiple wings. Office management motifs with an “other” side, light/star motifs. Teacher or TA design of some sort, with vast knowledge primarily on physics and astronomy (maybe astrology, too)
- Research-based student or is a part of the teaching world – something with education, as stated above. I can see them not having a lot of money, but is so indulged and passionate about learning/teaching, they truly don’t care about the monetary aspect
- I can imagine them having a “teacher’s voice,” one that’s stern when needed, calm when not, and can be super loud just to get others to listen to them. I can also imagine that their laugh is very noticeable— when they laugh in the same building as someone who knows them, they can hear them from hallways away and go “Yup, that’s Dominions.”
- They’d be very sociable; it has something to do with their ability to properly manage a room, no doubt. I think it would be a silly idea for them to also look completely innocent and sweet compared to their actual managerial and boss-like attitude
- Speaking of personality: It’s a mix of sweet and stern, someone who knows what they want and how to get there, but isn’t going to push others down just to climb above the ladder. I can see them being almost maternal/paternal just as their nature, the mom friend with the mom voice included.
- A silly scenario I can see happening is them simply allowing others to ramble on about a certain topic, maybe they read an article or are just now discovering the topic and fell into a rabbit hole. Only after the person stops talking does Dominions correct them with a sweet smile. They’d go down the list that they somehow remember, going through each “fact” and revising the person’s knowledge. I can see this being a point of pride for them for knowing more than the person, but I can also see this getting annoying to the point of them being snapped at for correcting people all the time. They don’t mean to be rude.
- Another idea for this character could be a more angsty one: They were a parent, and aren’t anymore, which is the reason why they went into the academic field in the first place. This could mean a human parent who lost their child, an angel whose child was executed, fallen, or killed by someone else, or a demon whose child was killed in some way. I could see this causing a reaction around Luke and younger demons/humans/angels, which ends with them leaving the house/building with hollowed eyes and a realization of: “Right, they’re not my child. I lost them a while ago.”
Virtues: In association with planets, elements, seasons, and nature. They work miracles, such as healing illnesses and share the future. High obedience and bear all misfortunes they take away.
(Physical idea:) Appearance of beings of light who appear in earthly forms of artists and healers. Planet and/or nature motifs, artistic motifs. Design should be surrounding medicinal elements, possibly a softer character who carries too much on their shoulders.
- I could see this character being in the medical field in some way–nurse, military nurse, doctor, surgeon, school nurse, or an alternative medicinal person like maybe Vodou/Hoodoo or shamans.
- Personality? I can see them being unnaturally calm, like the world around them could be falling apart and they’d still be as soft as a sleeping kitten. This could have some angsty backstory to it, but I could also see it being a little too “inhuman” with the way they keep calm, uncanny valley type stuff. On top of this, I could see them being super private in their life, they don’t share a lot about themself and will drop insane information about themselves at the most inconvenient of times.
- Imagine a scenario where characters are fighting against something, or maybe it’s more mundane where the characters are trying to cook something for another person. After the fight or the cooking or whatever is done, Virtues walks in and is like “oh, I could’ve helped if I had known, I’m a great cook!” I could see this becoming a silly trend where people now ask Virtues if they can help with anything, and eight times out of ten they can.
- Some down sides–I can see their unnatural calmness being a really bad thing for being vulnerable with people, making it hard to become friends with them. I can see this rooting into trust issues, negligence, and one-sided fights until this character finally snaps. Like, ultimate sobbing fits while asking someone who they thought was their friend what they did to make this person hate them. Or maybe they shout for the first time ever and it’s over something super small, but when someone tries to say “It’s fine, we just missed the tv show episode,” they begin to get really deep into everything they do and how they keep smiling and how everything truly isn’t okay.
- Once they snap I can truly see this character finally delve into their own trauma and history, learning to lean on people after their surrounding friends realize that their uncanny calmness was a coping mechanism of some sort.
- A lighter scenario: Because of their calmness, they’re a great player for video games, card games, or board games. However, I’d find it hilarious if they get super competitive for only a select few games–my idea would be Twister, Mario Party, and Uno. And once you get a few drinks into them, that competitiveness only grows.
Powers: The warrior angels that fight against demons. Also assists in the movement of celestial bodies, “keepers of history,” and assists in transporting souls to the afterlife.
(Physical ideas:) They’re similar in appearance to Virtues, but instead wear armor and helmets, with swords (greatswords, rapiers, spears, and glaives) and shields, too. Sibling of Virtues would be cute, just with a sharper design with a historian’s outfit
- Military personnel who've retired is the only way I can make this make sense, because after retirement they go into history-based work. If they’re an angel or demon, I can see this being a good point of tension between Devildom and the entire transfer student program. No matter the species, I can see their history-based work to be archiving or a librarian.
- I can see this character being a complete 180 from Virtues–super in-tune with their emotions yet very pessimistic, probably a gossip, and is at constant odds with their own luck. I love the idea of just an unlucky character. Now, pessimism doesn't equate depression, Powers would be smiley and down to party, they’re just a little bit of a crybaby with a little bit of a temper. Perhaps a little less of a temper compared to Cherubim, but the temper’s still there.
- I also think this character would be a little dense, and some people believe that they’re just thick-skinned instead. They’ll take insults as compliments, criticism as constructivism, and negligence as the other person simply not having enough time. Along with this, they’d try desperately to keep relations around them with little regard to their own mental health or the clear red flags around them
- This could be a good scenario for the character to get into–another person or character telling them as factual as possible that they simply cannot stay blind to the bullying or abuse or whatever else they’re going through.
- I could see this character being unironically really mature due to how in-tune to their emotions they are–especially if they’re human. Not only with the military background, but with the history-oriented knowledge of them, and their mental health being (at least partially) good? That’s a well-rounded adult right there.
- It takes a lot to get this character inebriated. They need to drink an entire bottle of Vodka before they even get tipsy–genetics and military background does that to a person. I believe that once they get drunk, though, they get sleepy and touchy. Not even in a sexual light, but in the sense of needing to hug someone, lean against someone’s shoulder, lay on their lap. They’ll whine if someone they’re touching moves away from them, even if it’s to go to the bathroom, and god forbid they fall asleep on a person while like this. That person is stuck there for the night, and they’ll absolutely start to cry if they try to get up.
- I can see them being really bad at keeping a healthy sleeping routine. They like to stay up (either because of nightmares from their military days or they’re a workaholic or whatever else) and have a hard time falling asleep. Despite this, napping occurs in the oddest of spaces–e.g. desks, dining tables or countertops, the literal floor. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the characters found Powers curled up underneath the coffee table using their own jacket as a blanket.

Lmao imagine if Loid gets a babysitter for Anya, they get close (babysitter and Anya). But! Lo and behold: babysitter’s in a hidden relationship with Demetrius Desmond.
I might go back to this and flesh it out.
Witch Hat Atelier Character Idea
Character who’s a victim of corrupt magic, skin tainted by the ink or burns of the brimmed hats that basically becomes a werewolf/Fiona/Beast situation:
- Daytime they’re a beast, nighttime they’re a human – or vice versa
- I’d see this character as one who isn’t a witch or an apprentice, but someone that just needs to be observed in fear of them going feral, injuring themself, or to keep that type of magic as hidden as possible
^ - Would be a good prompt idea for them to reject or hate magic due to what’s happened to them, and the reactions of the characters
- Consciousness/sanity/intelligence is still retained in their beast form, meaning the pain of their body contorting every morning/evening is felt
- They were experimented on by the brimmed hat witches with a group of other children before being abandoned where “the beasts” live, believing they should go mad from their state and holds little to no humanity left in them (they were wrong)
- The Knights Moralis figure out what happened from some townsfolk believing in a werewolf-like creature roaming and killing their livestock, leading to them being caught and locked away for the time being
^ - It wasn’t a terrible situation, but it was certainly uncomfortable. They’d likely be trapped inside a single building, if that, prodded at and interrogated until they figure out what the kid’s problem truly is.
^ - Their socialization capabilities would be hindered, similarly with their education. I could see the moralis teaching them as best as they can, primarily in their speaking and some light literacy learning, maybe some mathematics. Social norms would likely stay the poor, without children their age and without proper familial bonds.
^ -I could see the Moralis looking around for a “free” Watchful Eye to take over their new babysitting gig, and of course, who else but Olruggio is the lucky one they request. (*I would suggest having this character be the first child in the atelier, which is why Olruggio is “free”)
^ - I could see Olruggio originally declining, but after sharing the letter with Qifrey, he’s persuaded to take them in and let them stay at Qifrey’s atelier. That persuasion was probably nothing but a pleading look, let’s be honest
- Their arrival is at night, which was specified in the next series of letters that included their documentation (observations made at the village, then at the building they were kept in, their education levels, and of course, the “medical” documents) on the child.
- Despite Olruggio technically being the one in charge of the character, Qifrey is the one who welcomes them first. He’s extremely curious, and is even then searching for the brimmed hats, and fully believes this is a great first step to find what they stole from him—what they did to him.
- What they did to them.
I wrote a little bit for this:
The introductions are slim and quiet between the adults and child, likely very awkward as they watch this poor kid barely let out a ‘hi’ with an apprehensive, almost aggressive glare directed at the two. Their cloak—clearly from the moralis—hides all physical features aside from their face, which is only partially hidden by the hood. They let them in, and Qifrey is the one who tries to begin interrogating the child, not yet learning how to be a proper teacher or parental figure, asking questions that cause the child to snap back at the man.
Olruggio has to reel him back in and separates the two, becoming the one who shows the atelier to the child and directs them to where they’ll be living. He makes sure to explain to the child that the entire atelier is theirs to explore, but for now, perhaps just a single room will ease their stress, at least for the morning.
When sunrise does come, both Olruggio and Qifrey are there to observe the transformation, Qifrey with a pen and journal to describe what occurs, Olruggio with a blanket, some pain meds, and a bowl of water for the soon-to-be beast. Based on what they’ve read, the child goes feral from the pain, only to pass out from it and return sane after they wake.
They’re quick to express their pains—not verbally—but the physical tension and tightened jaw is enough to make it clear that their transformation has begun.
It starts slow, too. Bones and muscles crackling and stretching, skin taut against tearing tendons and meat as they watch their entire body morph into something barely considered human. It’s not the end, though.
They watch as their jaw twists and their ears morph, nails transforming into claws as paw pads appear on their fingertips and palms. A tail grows out of their end, meat and bone quickly being consumed by fur as it puffs up.
Throughout it all, the child is crying, calling out for help as blood seeps down their chin—down their muzzle—their eyes cry and their body tenses as their hips ache and twist, their legs and arms transforming into a quadrupedal figure as fur races up their spine. It traces their hair and shoulders, going down their legs and arms, ending at their hands as their voice finally breaks into harsh howling barks.
What animal are they? It’d be best to describe them as some feline-canine-bear-like being, with thick fur made for snow and a tiny body still ever so clearly a child’s.
The pen and journal Qifrey had been holding is no longer of importance to him as he watches the child tremble in front of them. Whimpered pants are all that escapes them, their limbs shake with each inhale.
They’re not feral. They’re scared.
As Olruggio steps closer, they both watch the child pull away from the adult, their hands—paws—curling inward as their thick tail curls around their paws, hiding them away. Their head has yet to rise.
The blanket is soft on their fur, and it quickly causes them to look up at the men. Wide eyes—still human, still oh so intelligent and oh so young—stare at them as Qifrey joins Olruggio’s spot right in fornt of the child, his gaze unreadable as he observes something that wasn’t written in the documents they had received
An intricate spell, burned so harshly on their back, no fur can grow. The lines and bumps harshly healed over makes it clear that this wasn’t some stamp, it wasn’t some branding.
No, this was done intentionally. This required hours of repeated burning on the entirety of this child’s back. Straight lines and edges along the circle so neatly—it makes their skin crawl.
This wasn’t the first child with this mark drawn onto their skin. It couldn’t have been. Not like this.

Character idea for Spy x Family
Let the Forgers have a single parent neighbor with a kiddo—maybe let that kid go to Eden, too.
Both parent and child ideas are below. Spoiler warning for Season 3 episodes 6–8 / chapters 68–74
Parent ideas: Teacher (or staff member at Eden)? Perhaps instead they work for the Desmonds? Maybe they’re a fugitive from the other side?, single parent
- Their expertise at being a parent (well, as much “expertise” as one can have for parenting) could aid Loid when he first gets Anya, perhaps he goes to them for help after digging into their background and realizing they’re a safe person (slash doesn’t work for any secret group)
- Could become a tutor for Anya, or could be a babysitter during days off. I could see them getting close with Yor when she realizes they cook for their child, and requests help in her own cooking style.
- Anya likes the character because they don’t lie, and when they do, it’s much more mundane compared to her own parents, letting her ease up on what she can and can’t say around the character.
- I could see them being the stand-in for Frankie during certain times, but at others–because they’re a working parent–he’s still required to take care of the dog during the cruise (just as an example)
- Along with this, I could see the parent knowing somehow that Anya is a special girl. Maybe not exactly how she’s special, but that parent’s intuition is screaming at them that this child isn’t normal, and in a very special and good way.
- They could give advice to the adults while also being a normal parent for Anya to grasp onto during certain troubles. Especially since Yor’s normal reaction is towards violence and Loid is a little too stressed to accurately react to truly anything. Anya goes to them first when they get a bad grade, which would become a lesser occurrence as the year progresses, before going to Loid and Yor.
^ - This could be a point of tension between the parents, as Loid and Yor feel lesser when they learn that Anya goes to them first (For Loid, it’s totally because it puts the mission at jeopardy, and no other reason). I can see them independently stalking the parent (maybe as Anya is babysat by them, or they stalk them while they’re with their own child) to understand why Anya goes to them first. It ends up being because she’s using them as a trial run, it rids their anxiety over the matter, and even if Anya knows they won't get terribly upset with her over a bad grade, she still feels guilty and needs to let that nervous energy out before she goes to them.
- They’d probably meet Yuri eventually, and I think it’d be a funny coincidence if they know who he truly is, and he has to ask (or “ask”) them not to tell Yor–if we go with the idea that they’re a fugitive, Yuri can definitely blackmail them into keeping them quiet. It gives Anya another thing to worry about.
Child possibilities: Goes to Eden, becomes friends with Anya since they live so close together
- If the child goes to Eden, I can see Loid immediately trying to buddy-up Anya with them–not because he worries she’ll be lonely at Eden, but for the mission, of course. I can also see the child being babysat by the Forgers, too, during days that their parent is out. Maybe they hang out during the evenings before their parent gets home.
- It allows Anya another friend and would be seen as an ease on Loid–for a little bit, at least–since the child and Anya get their energy out from playing with one another.
- Along with this, especially if they hang out with the Forgers during the evenings before their parent returns from their work, they could have study sessions with Anya. Perhaps this helps her since they can at least understand her more from a child’s perspective.
- Cute spy activities around the houses are at a constant. Anya rubs off on the child, causing their own house to now be a Bondman archive, too. It would be cute if the series had a manga or novel series tied to it, and the child buys them and shares them with Anya, which inadvertently helps her with her literature class since she’s reading. If they live close enough, they could also use walkie talkies, which I think would be such a cute idea. They talk to one another like spies (“Ober” “No, Anya, it’s ‘Over’. Over.” “Okay, ober.”)
- If their parent is a teacher at Eden, they’d definitely have enough money for this growing collection. If the parent isn’t, I could see them being more middle class, in which I could then see a commentary between Anya’s living accommodations and the child’s.
^ - This would be a cool theme to go with, since Anya would be a middle-class child compared to the child versus Becky and the others at Eden.
^ - Maybe Anya reads their mind and realizes they truly do live primarily paycheck to paycheck, and requests Loid help them, since they’re her friend(s, I can fully see Anya believing their parent is her friend, too). Of course, pride would likely get in the way for them to accept the help outright, but Loid is cunning and is a literal spy, so I could see him leaving money around their apartment as if they “forgot” or “lost” it in the couch cushions.
- ^ I can see the child being bullied due to their low economic status (which is likely middle-class, let’s be real), but I can also see them being ignored for the same reason (until they get a Stella or something along those lines)
- If they get a Stella, I can see it being for something that Anya has yet to get. Possibly an arts or sporting event, or perhaps they’re a whiz at a certain subject that just lets them get Stella's due to being number one or something.
- The bus hijacking could be another Stella moment. I assume they’d be in the same bus–or we get more insight on the other bus that was taken.
^ - If they’re in the same bus as Anya, I could see them being a little reckless in their attempts to escape. Perhaps they open the emergency back door and try to call for help that way, maybe instead they’re the one who gets the bomb strapped on their neck instead of Anya (*I could see Damian still trying to get it taken off since they’re close to Anya, and the crush he has on her would make him believe that Anya can’t lose a friend, it would crush her, whatever else).
^- After they’re let go, their parent gets there after Yor and before the Desmond mother shows up. I can see this being a moment where Damian notices the differences in parents just from observation, and I could see their parent being the one to gently pat Damian’s back as they wait for his mother. I can also see their parent (once again with that intuition) somehow knowing something’s off with his mother after their hug.
^ - Perhaps the parent is crying, too, telling Yor that they weren’t told anything until after it was all over, and how they felt so useless as they watched the police take off a bomb from their child’s neck.
^ - If they’re on the other bus, the recklessness is still there. Perhaps they—their own intuition–does what Becky and Anya do, dropping a note out of the window for help (maybe there’s a hole on the floor of the bus, and he leaves a literal trail to their location, which helps Yuri find them). Maybe the walkie talkies can actually help them. They mess with the channel and talk out to a radio station or something before the hijackers figure it out, which causes them to also strap a (fake) bomb on their neck and force them to sit in the front of the bus with them.
^ - When Yuri figures out a child has a bomb strapped to them after the entire take-down, he’s the one to step in and help. The child is absolutely terrified, no doubt, and this would allow the audience to see a little more of Yuri’s soft side.
^ -After they’re let go, both them and their parent go to find Anya, too. They find them after Yor gets there and before the Desmond mother shows up. The rest is similar to above, just with the child hugging Anya and them crying together.

Character Idea of Spy x Family:
Aloof character that’s close to Damian Desmond, in which Loid decides that might be the best route (Plan D?) to get closer to the Desmond family – A friendship route for Anya getting closer to the group instead of just one person. Maybe it makes the plan a little less suspicious.
- Calls Anya “Shrimp” because she’s short and pink. Not necessarily meant to be mean-spirited, but it isn’t meant to be a compliment, either
- Prodigy child in some sort of field (or multiple fields), giving Loid a reasonable excuse to ask Anya to get closer to the character (tutoring)
- Sad backstory? Neglectful parents or maybe really harsh parents, and that’s why they’re a prodigy in their field(s)? I guess it could be both
* Could have some sort of powers, perhaps that’s why they’re a prodigy:
Examples:
musically inclined prodigy could hold some control over influence over a person’s emotions or thoughts (not trained thoroughly, so their powers only come out when they play an instrument)
mathematically inclined prodigy has “visions” of lines and graphs around them, and is extremely smart when it comes to geometry and mathematics because that’s all their world is (like a really in-depth spatial perception) – this could also be a good painter or sculpture prodigy
language/literacy inclined prodigy is “mature” in their way of thinking, when in reality it’s a form of telepathy that they can’t control, and their environment caused their thought level and reading level to be higher than the other kids
science inclined prodigy who has “visions” of backgrounds of an object or person via touch? A single touch provides them information via seeing into their past (similar to Bond’s future sight but instead it’s a history sight?) – this could also go under a history prodigy or a literature prodigy
painting prodigy where it’s simply photographic memory (semi-photographic? My imagination goes to impressionism) or an empath power (able to read people’s emotions even if the person itself doesn’t recognize the emotion). Empathy and photographic memory (or really harsh training at a young age) could allow the child to easily paint their and other’s emotions into exactly what their teacher would want to see
