No matter how much we dreamed or hoped, we ALL knew Mashima would write an Open Ending. We all knew.

Open Endings may be disappointing in some ways to people, but there’s a positive look as well.

Anything could have happened on that 100 year mission, anything could happen with the characters that wasn’t specified in the final chapter.

It’s up to you to decide how it ends, or if it ends.

And that is a part of the painful beauty. The pain of deciding, but the beauty of choice.

When Lucy woke up from her drunken stupor, Natsu was just sitting in Lucy’s chair turned towards her bed.

You know what that means?

Natsu watched Lucy sleep.

He could have easily left, but no he decided to stay and take care of Lucy when she was drunk and still stayed until morning to make sure she was okay.

It makes me so fucking happy that even though Natsu was the MC, Lucy had incredible development and she accomplished amazing things.
