Shirabu Kenjirou
Would you share an anecdote of Ushijima that left an impression on you?
The first time I saw one of Ushijima-sanās matches in junior high, it was a shock to me. That was probably when I decided to go to Shiratorizawa.

When my patients see their symptoms have improved, of course.
Goshiki Tsutomu
Would you share an anecdote of Ushijima that left an impression on you?
I remember when I kept making mistakes during a match and I couldnāt help but get flustered, he said to me, āWhy would you have any reason to panic with all your talent?ā and it surprised me enough to calm me back down.
Are you still playing volleyball these days?
Iām an outside hitter.
What was your impression of playing against Ushijima in a professional league?
He was strong⦠I felt like I should work harder too.
In what area have you most improved as a pro player?
Blocks, maybe. I think I can deal with things more calmly than before.
Åhira Reon
Would you share an anecdote of Ushijima that left an impression on you?
Someone brought in a disentanglement puzzle once, [the ones where you have to take apart the pieces of an oddly-shaped object] and amidst a hard struggle, when it wasnāt yet completely disconnected, he just brute-force yanked it in the wrong place. I was watching the whole thing. [oof tough sentence]
Are you still playing volleyball these days?
Iām both player and coach for the Kiniro Sports Jumpers.
Why did you get a job at a sporting goods store?
There was the sentiment that I wanted to stay involved with sports, plus Iāve loved stuff like activewear and shoes since an early age.
Semi Eita
Would you share an anecdote of Ushijima that left an impression on you?
This was just recently but a few volleyball fan kids called him āTerminatorā and he seemed so happy tellinā the story, it was cute. [*cries* Iād love to assume this means they speak often, also Semi contracts some of his verbs??]

Kawanishi Taichi

Iām in food production and sales. [WOOOOOO good on him!!!]
Are you still playing volleyball these days?
