This was our tea tonight....

Sirloin steak with chips and broccoli. I would've preferred peas but we'd run out. Still, it was all cooked to perfection by my youngest. He loves cooking steak. But not as much as he loves eating it! 😂

And before y'all start complaining about how it's been cooked? I like my meat well done, so there! 😝😂

All that was required was to add some black peppercorn sauce and a glass of damn fine wine!

A real treat!

(Only because the steaks and the wine were reduced in price 😁)

I made it all the way to middle age before discovering that when our British cousins say “tea” it sometimes refers to a meal, much the way “dinner” does for us Yanks. Other times, it refers to the beverage. My cross-cultural education has been .... uneven. :p
