it's good enrichment for The Character(s) when one of their friends gets possessed and they have to find some way to bring them back. great friendgroup bonding activity. especially if they have to do some exorcism bullshit and it's traumatizing for everyone involved and there's collapsing and sobbing afterward. great thing for The Character(s) to do. highly recommend.

Hatchy has some bottled up frustration towards Slate. ::[ This was interesting to think about because I feel like Slate's way of showing that they care about people is fixing things for them. However, Slate is always, to a fault, very proud of their work and doesn't want to admit when something they made doesn't work. So yeah, reasonable frustration on Hatchy's end I think

Do you guys think it'd be possible for inspectors to have different 'personalities' between individuals or at the very least, between different iterators? The idea suddenly popped in my head and like... I kinda vibe with the idea of iterator components and organisms having some degree of personality ngl... Not in the sense of them being full on individuals all things considered, they're still part of a whole, but like... Different inspectors acting slightly differently, possibly depending somewhat on their iterator's personality, y'know? Like maybe the inspectors of one iterator are more cautious around possible threats and are quicker to defend, while another iterator's inspectors are more curious and such?

omg @ghostlycoze and i had all sorts of inspector headcanons!! i def think that iterators’ internal parts were slightly autonomous but at their core still had the base personality of whatever iterator they were a part of :3

YESSS I remember this omg, these ideas were so fun to explore. It's also cute to consider the inspectors (or even the neurons) behaving on thoughts and feelings almost independently to how the iterator behaves themself; e.g. the iterator refraining from cooing at slugcat visitors, only for their inspectors to coddle them lmao
