Can we just talk about how he's always staring at her? Always.
James doesn’t do anything to try and improve his situation. He just leans against the wall breathing heavily.
Oh, yeah?
Tate doesn't let up. Instead he slams a fist into James' gut because this guy still isn't getting it and nothing has the ability to piss him off more. He had once been willing to kill for Violet's happiness. Now he wanted nothing more than to make her as alone as he was.
Get the fuck out and don't come back.
FUCK YOU IM GONNA DO THE THING
Sincerely, your Muse. (via golden-showtime)
I don’t think it matter what you want.
Tate grabbed a strong hold of James' shoulders and used his weight to hurl the other man into the wall. His hands went straight for the man's throat.
I think it does.
We’ll see about that.
I don't want you near her. Understand?
Bloody Mess||OPEN
Mari’s head jerked up when sh heard that same familiar voice; it was Tate’s. She could feel the blood around her mouth start to dry, leaving a penny like taste in her mouth. “Tate…..” It was the only thing she could get out at the moment. She wiped away the tears on her cheeks, forgetting her blood soaked hands. She stood up and ran past the body on the ground and into Tate, not caring if he hated her or not.
"He t-tried to hurt me…." She showed him the bruises forming on her wrists, and she could feel them forming on her ankles as well. She couldn’t even really process at the moment, she just looked up at her older brother, a helpless look on her face, like a lost puppy. Mari turned around and looked at the mess. She was… horrified. She’d just killed someone; her own father.
Tate stood still for a moment as Mari ran into him, not quite embracing her or turning her away. What she had done to him and Violet was far from his mind at the moment. Surrounded by the mess of his father's blood, it was hard to think of anything else. His arm reached up to wrap around Mari, letting the terrified girl lean against him for the moment among the chaos. He was drinking it in; planning for the time when this would be his mess to clean.
"It's okay. You did what you had to do," Tate shrugged, eyes still locked on all that blood. It was hard to feel sorry for her when he was wishing it could have been him. It didn't matter to her that she was terrified; he deserved it. The man deserved to be killed ten times over. "He deserved it."
Violet felt the way Tate steadily pushed his lips against hers. Her eyes fluttered shut at the contact. In reality, it hadn’t been all that long since the last time they’d kissed. As much as she hated herself for it, there really was only one thing that made her weak in the knees, and that was his touch. She reached up to grip either side of his jaw with her bloody hands, smearing blood along the sides of his face. Pulling him closer to her, she deepened their kiss and she inhaled the limited air that existed between them. His scent flooded her nose and her senses became close to nonexistent. She could taste the iron on his tongue and it made Violet’s world spin. She was tasting her own blood, but all she could taste was Tate.
She took a few steps back towards the couch, her hands still tight on his face. The backs of her Converse bumped against the coach and she lowered herself onto it, bringing him down with her to rest on top of her while never losing contact with his lips. One of her hands let go of his face to reach for one of his so she could bring it up to where her heart was pounding against her chest. She wanted him to feel what he made her feel.
Tate moved effortlessly with Violet as she backed toward the couch. Their lips never parted, as if neither of them could break the kiss. It felt like it had been so long when in reality only days had passed. He longed for her the way he always had but with an ache that had been only deepened. His hand moved to her chest and he could feel the pounding of her heart beneath his palm. He moved his hand away from her chest and down her side until he could feel the end of her dress. With none of the caution he had used before, he hiked it up and let his hand slide up her thigh and between her legs.
Chad frightens me on a deep, deep level. He’s like a cheerful sinister gay man who strikes fear in the heart of homemakers and small children.
What do you find so frightening about a man who's top priority is carving jack-o-lanters and making paper bats?
Violet’s mind grew hazy with his response. The way the words flew seamlessly out of his mouth and the possessiveness that was behind every syllable. She was his, yes; she’d always be his. Just as he’d always be hers. And, right now, he was what she wanted. She took fluid, graceful movements until she was standing close enough to him to feel his warmth radiating onto her skin. She looked deep into his eyes; she knew that he would be able to see the way desire clouded her vision. Her eyes flitted down to his lips where her blood was no longer lingering, rather, where her blood had once been, as now it was in the caverns of his mouth. The fact that she was, in some sick way, now a part of him, was enough to make her swallow hard.
I want to taste.
Tate's gaze had temporarily lost it's focus. His eyes were still on Violet but instead of looking at her, the blonde appeared to be gazing directly through her. Even as she made her way to him he seemed to be lost in the whirlwind of his own chaotic thoughts. Every single one of them centered on Violet.
I want to taste.
He wanted to let her. He wanted more of her. The metallic taste was strong; stronger now that Violet was so close to him. His own blood pulsed through his body- so did hers. Tate met Violet's eyes for a brief moment and he could see that she wanted it too. She wanted more. She needed that taste. Almost carefully, he pressed his lips against hers. As if this could have been the old 'them'. But it wasn't, and within seconds he had tossed care to the side.
One moment Violet was standing close enough to Tate to hear his thundering heartbeat, and in the next he’d shoved her hard enough to make her lose her footing and stumble on an arm chair. Her eyes shot back at him to glare as she regained balance. She was angry now. She wanted nothing more than to slit his throat, nice and clean, so that he’d choke to death on his own blood. However, her gaze turned inquisitive and intrigued as she saw him touch the blood on his lips, her blood, and watched his tongue dart out to lick the red off of them. Instinctively, she squeezed her thighs together. There was something incredibly obscene about him tasting her blood, tasting her, that set her insides on fire. She was wide-eyed and her tongue ran over her lips before she could muster up a response.
How do I taste?
The metallic taste of Violet's blood coated the inside of Tate's mouth. He didn't know what made him swallow it but it slid down his throat effortlessly, the taste lingering behind. He wasn't seeing anything in the room; even Violet was gone. He was tasting her and that part of her was a part of him now, too. For the first time in too long it felt like they had a connection whether she wanted it or not. He had her; part of her. His eyes finally focused on something- his fingertips and the red stain that was now dominant on them.
How do I taste?
The blonde looked up and didn't miss a beat.
Like you're mine.

THE RICK ROLL PART
OPEN
Mariana was back in the study, where she aways went whenever she was upset and she needed to be alone. She and Tate got into another fight, but she felt that this was their last one, for he would never speak to her again. She shoved him, he slapped her, grabbed her, she bit him again, knowing it would probably leave another scar on his hand. Mari was so upset; she wanted things to be nice between them. They were siblings, it was supposed to come natural between them. Who knew he was the one to hurt her so much.
She stood in the corner with her back towards the room, as if she were in a time out that lasted forever. The tears that she had once cried had stopped, leaving glimmers of dried rivers on her rosy cheeks. She was so sick and tired of being angry and upset and weak all the time. She was a Langdon by blood, she was supposed to be strong willed and determined and brave. Rage bubbled up inside of her, her small hands balling up into tight fists until her knuckles turned white. Mari started slamming her fists against the wall, feeling her boiled blood slowly cool down, but just not quite enough.
She could feel the skin on her knuckles start to break, and just then did she come to a stop. Her hands were almost numb, but she could still feel the slightest pinch. Mari stood still, still lingering in the corner, but froze stiller than still when she heard footsteps behind her. “Leave me alone, Chad, I don’t want to deal with your—” Her sentence was cut off by a rough hand over her mouth from behind, feeling the ghost tug her out of the corner and throwing her onto the floor. She landed on her back with a grunt and a gasp for air, even though she didn’t really need it come to her condition, and stared up in horror at the man who threw her down with such force.
It wasn’t Chad, or even Tate, but her own father, Hugo Langdon, the smell of alcohol oozing from his pores as he lingered above the poor, defenseless girl. “You look jus’ like yur motherwhen she was yur age..” His words slurred. Mari’s mind went into panic when she watched him come closer to her, slowly falling onto his knees to try to climb on top of her.
"Get away! Leave!" Mari shouted, pushing herself backwards and away with her feet, but was stopped short when she felt a harsh grip around her ankle, and she let out a shrilling scream when he pulled her back to him. Tears were streaming down her cheeks, she struggled and struggled, trying to get away from her father. She looked around for anything she could use against him, and reached for the letter opener that was resting on the side table by her favorite chair. "I said let go you motherfucker!" She shouted one last time and jammed the letter opener in the man’s hand. There was a cry of pain, and he released her.
"You sick son of a bitch…" Mari growled through her teeth, pulling the letter opener out of Hugo’s hand. Something had definitely changed in Mari. She was just attacked, almost raped, by her own father. Maybe the crazy Chad said ran through her veins was finally leaking out, bit by bit, until she finally snapped. "You think you can just…. attack me? Raoe me?" Her well wasn’t dry, new tears streaming down her cheeks. "You monster…" She sobbed, and kneed him where it hurts, watching him crumple to the ground in front of her. That was her chance.
Mari got down and sat on his back, the letter opener shaking in her hands. With a single breath, she brought it down and into the flesh of her father, stabbing him with all of the anger she had. When she was finished, she got up and stood in front of him, out of breath, the letter opener dropping from her bloodied hands. She let out a scream and jumped when his corpse reanimated itself, his hands reaching for her ankkles and succeeding in grabbing them, his grip hard. Why did she have to bruise so easily? Falling backwards, Mari tried her best to scoot away from Hugo, but he wouldn’t let go. He used her body to climb up her, and he held onto her wrists, which gave Mari another good advantage.
Struggling, Mari managed to get loose one of her wrists, and she reached and grabbed his arm, bringing it to her lips. Her teeth sunk deep into Hugo’s arm until Mari had a mouth full of flesh. Just then, she yanked her head to the side, the meat coming off of Hugo’s arm, and managed to escape his grip when he pulled back, sobbing in pain. She felt like she was going to vomit as the hunk of meat plopped out of her mouth. It tasted as if she shoved a bunch of pennies in her mouth; the taste of iron from the blood was too strong. She needed to flee, but she felt so weak, she just steped away from the crime scene and sank into another corner of the study, bloodied, bruised, and in tears.
The house had been the kind of quiet that could make a person crazy. The only sound reverberating off the walls were the echoes of Tate's shoes on the wood floor as he made his way through the hallway. There was no one around which meant that it was probably a conscious effort to stay of the teenager's way. For a while, the silence was welcome. He had sat with Violet's blood on his mouth for what seemed like hours before finally washing it away. Every now and then he still tasted her even though the blood was long gone from his face. He still had that small part of her. It was his.
A shrill scream interrupted his thoughts, breaking the eerie silence of the house. After the quiet, the struggling upstairs was obvious and he could hear Mari's angry voice yelling at someone. Get away! Leave! He was heading up the stairs before he realized what he was doing, his mind now completely free of the flower's hold for the time being. It was obvious before he was even all the way up the stairs where the voices were coming from and a rage sank in. He could hear pained grunting and more shuffling, and by the time he turned the corner it was over.
The room was covered in blood. So much, he couldn't escape it. The sight of it didn't bother him- actually, it was... intriguing. In the middle of it all laid the body of his father, a chunk of skin hacked out of his arm, his back torn up in a tapestry of dark puddles, dripping and oozing. There was a mixture of relief and hesitance. The man would be waking up soon, and he hoped whoever did this wouldn't hesitate to do it again when he did. He was about to turn and leave the man to drown in his own blood when he caught a pathetic ball of a girl in his peripherals.
Mari was in the corner of the room and she looked like hell itself. She was covered in blood- the theme of the day- and she was in the state for which he knew her best. Crying. Tate would have left her alone to deal with her mess if not for her blood coated hands.
"If we turn him a little he might even drown in it."
