What has happened tonight is something that will be in the history books for our children to see and their children after. The rest of the world watches and scorns the United States for its insolence and for it disgusting ability to discriminate so horrendously against its OWN people solely based on the color of their skin.
If you are black, do not let this go. Never forget the injustice served by the very people that promise you freedom. You have every right to express your outrage, and to anyone that disagrees with you, give them a big “fuck you”. Do everything in your power to make sure justice is served and to make sure something like this NEVER happens again. History will always repeat itself if this country does not LEARN.
If you are white, do not forget your privilege. Do not forget that you cannot tell black people how to feel or tell them their outrage is misplaced. You are ALL beneficiaries of America’s institutionalized racism. You do not understand what it means to be scared for your life of people whose catch phrase is “to protect and serve”. Do NOT single yourself out by saying “not all white people are racist” because even though that may be true, you benefit from a system that lets white people walk free for killing a black person for just about any reason. Do NOT blame yourselves or become white-shaming, as this does nothing to help the cause; all it does is make the issue about YOU, again, and takes the focus away from the people that TRULY deserve the sympathy. Do all you can to fight against this injustice and detach yourself from the institutionalized racism you all grew up with and are privileged with today.
If you are a non-black POC, do NOT stay silent about the ridicule and anti-blackness that is rampant and alive in your own communities. You will become as much of a part of the problem as white people that are being white apologists. Fight this injustice hard and well, because guess who is on the white man’s kill list right after black people? ANY and EVERYONE else that is not white.
And to all, please, do not EVER forget November 24th, 2014 and what it means for 13% of America’s entire population. 13% of Americans that are just like you; only a different shade of skin color. Always remember: BLACK LIVES MATTER.

a pretty standard reaction by now. he usually forgave the ‘satan’ thing once or twice with people who didn’t know any better; he wasn’t unreasonable. there’s something between a smirk and a genuine smile turning up his lips.

So this is what the Devil looks like——her mind is brought back to a conversation she'd had when her cheeks were still able to flush pink and when she'd had a beating heart. A conversation about the Devil and how he didn't look like what myth told him to be. And her reaction is unexpected; she simply arches a brow and a corner of her lips turns up into a half smile.

so !!! it’s been about a week or two since i remade this blog here & i have to say that i’m incredibly amazed that almost 400 of you followed me over here. it’s been one hell of a ride with this dumb ghoul, & there’s just a few select people who have made my time here incredibly welcomed. this isn’t a follow forever, though i would follow these people anywhere they went so as long as they’d want me to. if you’re not on here, it’s nothing personal!!! we just haven’t been in that much communication. with that being said, i highly recommend these nerds:
