Manga: La La La

Is this the deal of a lifetime, or did he fall into some sort of trap?!

Review: It’s been awhile since I’ve stumbled upon something so cute and wholesome. I ended up binging all the chapters I can before I even knew it. The growth from each character, as well as the fact that the FL is to me either aromantic or on the spectrum…is just a nice change. Truly shows that “normal” isn’t “normal” and that everyone’s relationship is different from how you expect it to be. I highly recommend this series if you are looking for something that is a feel good type of feeling.

This story follow alongs to otakus, one who is only in love with 2D girls and another who is a cosplayer. The two end up bonding over their anime, moving in together and even getting into a secret relationship. A promising story that completely fell off…..

There is only three volumes of this series. The girls are cute which is the only saving grace for these whole story. Everything else fell flat, not even the romance was good. Honestly I would not suggest this to anyone. UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO SEE ART OF SOME CUTIES, don’t read it for the story. Don’t even register what is going on because you will be disappointed.

Title: The Lovers in the Abyss

The angst, the emotions, the physiological damage this series gave me. Was a lot (not really) I really loved this story and how the characters were going. The female lead jumps out of a window after being told by the male lead to go die. When he ask for forgiveness she ask for love. It’s what pulled me in, I wanted to know what brought her to that point and what would happen next.

Unfortunately the ending was really rushed due to it being axed, the author themselves ended continuing the series a bit longer on how they wanted it to end. Which I believe they have officially completed this work.

I’m going to say this first, Dead Tube is not for the faint of heart. This series is grotesque and disturbing, please check trigger warnings for yourself.

I’ve been keeping up with this series for years now, I really enjoyed the first few arcs that happened for all the MC. Though for these last few chapters I have debated on putting this one down for good. Without spoiling anything the last main arc around Vol. 11 was enough for me, it hit the main points. Yes it left some holes but with how the story is currently going I would rather have those holes then this mess. I barely have an idea what’s going on anymore other then the same stuff happening over and over again, I’m not even sure the main goal for the MCs are the same anymore. Will I keep reading? Yes. Why? I’ve made it this far might as well see how it ends.

I came across this series by chance, the cover caught my eye while I was looking for a whole different series…and I’m so happy it did. The love i have for each character continues to grow as i learn more about them. Rintaro (ML) has such a beautiful friendship with he’s friends and the way the author writes about opening up really pulled my heart strings. How he feels about Waguri (FL) and realizing those feelings is just….AH! I can’t help but understand (● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾

First review goes to a classic feel good of mine. Futari Ashitamo Sorenarini follow along a couple who just moved in together. Watching their relationship grow as well their love for each other truly warms the soul. This is a slice of life, romance that is completed!! So if you need something to binge to make yourself feel good or lonely depending where you are at in your life this is the series.
