Gaslighting is abuse that causes the abused to question their sanity.

It is not making someone feel bad. It’s making someone think they’re crazy or insane. It makes them think they’re the problem. Things that can have a gaslighting effect on a victim are an abuser saying things they did never happened, telling their victim outright that they’re insane for thinking they’re abusive (specifically saying they’re delusional), telling their victim their completely rational reactions to things are irrational/out of proportion to events, etc.

Im getting tired of people washing away the definition of this word. Use 👏 it 👏 correctly 👏.
