And in the rare case that we do get what we deserve, we push it away - throw it out of the window, drive a dagger through it - believe we do not deserve it. I can feel you pushing me away, shaking your head a little, saying I will be fine, even managing a small smile. I lean a little on your shoulder, hold your hand in mine. It's alright, I am here.
