I do think the “Catra does cat thing” jokes are funny but I also think they’re quite overdone. I dunno I think they’re at their best when they’re juuuust about at the crossover of what a cat and a person would do. Frankly Catra could have been *significantly* worse and I’d still wholeheartedly believe her being saved and getting redeemed and getting a happy ending would still be entirely earned.

Literally she could have murdered someone on screen and I’d still be rooting for her, my girl deserves to live happily ever after and kiss and cuddle with her wife for all eternity

I’ve never gotten so excited over a fictional couple kissing as Catra and Adora and honestly I don’t think I ever will again. Nothing else is ever gonna top the emotional rush of pure joy I felt when they finally kissed (I like these two of you can’t tell)

Adora is genuinely kind of transition goals to me. Which probably contributes to me liking her as much as I do. And I’m already blonde and tall so there’s a non zero chance I could pull off a decent she-ra cosplay once I hit like 2 years on hrt or something lol.

My favourite Catra is definitely either short hair or with her ponytail but I cannot for the life of me decide which one because she looks very cute with both

Not including Catra and Adora because I’m obsessed with both of them and they’re genuinely my favourite fictional characters ever, it’s legitimately quite difficult to decide who my favourite characters from spop are because they’re just kind of all really good. There’s not a single character that I genuinely dislike. I hate shadow weaver’s ass but that’s like, the Intended reaction to her. Scoria, entrapta and double trouble are all definitely up there tbh but I genuinely adore every character in the show. There’s definitely some that I like less than others but there aren’t any that I straight up dislike.

Side note I’ve been talking about them enough now that when I typed adore it tried to autocorrect to Adora. Which I think is very funny.

Realistically I think they’re both switches but it’s funnier to say Catra is just a bottom. She’s also a complete brat about it.

It’s honestly kind of insane to me how consistently high quality the catradora fics I’ve read so far have been. I genuinely don’t think I’ve read a bad one how are they ALL good. It’s feeding my obsession with them to such a ludicrous degree too, I’ve been trying to doodle them but I haven’t made anything I’m happy enough with to post lol. BUT SOME DAY!!!

I adore everything about spop but some of the character names really make me giggle. I don’t think I’m ever gonna get over the fact that they called a powerful mage Castaspella it’s so funny to me.
