The Israeli incursion into the heart of Gaza City has forced countless families to flee south, leaving behind their homes, memories, and everything they hold dear. Imagine over 2 million people crammed into an area smaller than 40 kilometers, struggling to survive under constant bombardment. Streets that were once filled with life are now ruins; hospitals are overwhelmed, and basic necessities are scarce. Children are terrified, families are torn apart, and nowhere feels safe. This is not a battle it is collective punishment, a humanitarian nightmare unfolding in real time, and the world cannot turn away.

Hello, my name is Anas, and I am from Gaza.Some of you may already know me from my previous fundraiser on GoFundMe. I want to explain honest
Roughly around December of last year, I went in for my routine eye exam to get my prescription renewed so I could get the medieval torture-looking devices we call contacts, so that I could see. My exam went fine. They puff air in my eyes. They take photos. I'm ready to go get a coffee and go home. And then, my doctor drops this little bomb on me.
"Super crazy! You're vision looks fine except you have some optic nerve swelling. Just a tad. We're going to refer to the local hospital- they're probably just going to put you on medication for six months to help."
Well, a few months later, I just had my appointment yesterday. Got an ultrasound on my eyes (didn't even know they could do that) and anyway in two months I get to go get an MRI AND a lumbar puncture at the ripe age of 22 because, as it turns out, this swelling if untreated can CAUSE PERMANENT VISION LOSS. Because there's most likely too much pressure in my brain.
What a fun time to be told you very likely have Idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Anyway, if anyone has any advice to get over a fear of an MRI and Lumbar Punctures, let a gal know.

David: When I was a teenager, there was this thing that Mrs. Thatcher's government introduced called Section 28, which was about stopping the "promotion" of homosexuality in schools, which was a weird umbrella term, which was basically saying it was illegal to talk about being gay in school or to suggest that that might be a normal way of behaving. We look back on that now as a medieval, absurd thing to try and say. And I think the way the trans community is being demonised and othered is exactly the same.
