Y de pronto, mayo se sienta a la orilla del calendario y se prepara para marcharse.

Han pasado cinco meses del año. Lo suficiente para haber cambiado un poco, para haber perdido algunas cosas, encontrado otras y aprendido que no todo llega cuando lo esperamos.

Hubo días ligeros y días que pesaron más de la cuenta. Conversaciones que se quedaron a nedias. Silencios que dijeron demasiado. Puertas que se cerraron y otras que aparecieron donde no pensábamos mirar.

A veces la vida nos recuerda que no siempre obtenemos respuestas. Otras veces nos regala algo mejor: la capacidad de seguir adelante aun sin ellas.

Hoy, en el último domingo de mayo, vale la pena agradecer. Por lo hermoso y por lo difícil. Por quienes se quedan. Por quienes dejaron una enseñanza antes de partir. Por las alegrías inesperadas y por las heridas que, poco a poco, nos enseñaron algo sobre nosotros mismos.

Porque al final, hay que aprender a soltar sin amargura, esperar sin ansiedad y seguir creyendo que lo mejor no siempre llega primero, y que todavía quedan razones - y meses - para mirar hacia adelante.
