“I was going to get a butterbeer and pride if I made it,” She shrugged, “But it was definitely more for the dignity of winning. You’d understand if you had any.” Joey pushed her lips together and tried to give Gideon her best glare, but her heart wasn’t in it. “Oh shut up, Gideon.”

“That’s it? That’s a bloody shame, I thought it’d be something more exciting.” Upon seeing Joey’s face turn red again, Gideon gasped, amazed at his own obviously incredible investigation skills. “Hyped up? Really? Did he hype you up with his tongue?”

“It was a bet,” She groaned, “One I bloody lost. I was doing fine, but then Alastor came along and I got all jazzed up and I just couldn’t help it. I had to go for a run or I swear I was going to set something on fire.”
