So Rumiko' Takahashi's latest manga MAO is finally getting an anime!

MAO looks good and he's voiced by Yuki Kaji, so that's nice. But unfortunately, it is produced by Sunrise 😭 I'm really hoping for MAO fans that Sunrise doesn't mess with the characterization this time and properly adapts the story.

Hope no one’s seeing this comparison and being discouraged from watching the new anime just because the older one is “nostalgic”. Both series are fantastic and deserve a lot of praise! This was just a fun little gif because I thought it was cute that the new anime mirrors the old one.😅
