So how r we feeling now knowing that redson was planning to do it? Also warning this may be very poorly worded lol
I know that I do not talk on here if at all, but I'm gonna give kudos to @/kyri45's foreshadowing regarding redson's confession.
Sure I came into the series from tiktok so I was a teesny bit behind when I clicked that It could be found on tumblr. REGARDLESS!! I find it pretty much flawless how the foreshadowing worked out;
Firstly when we're introduced to courtnapping; its when redson reveals he has horns— even then we knew these two were going to be pining losers! But we also see how the thought process works. I would've talked about how it could've been literal months in the making.. however this one line kinda blew that wayward (no harm just caught me off guard)
Does this mean he hasn't been thinking about it? ABSOLUTELY NOT! personally my theory is that he's had the urges long enough to where I wouldn't be suprised if he became a teensy bit restless by the nag of them; but only for the sake of thinking of a good time and date to work on it. (the world has been in danger how many times now?)
Next we have Macaque explain courtnapping plain and simple as; its an any demon thing, it only took a second read to process it and ask myself; "any demon?" Thats when it clicked for me that redson could be preparing a courtnapping. Even though some people have definitely caught onto it earlier then me.
Also it makes sense that with redson working on the courtnapping; it makes sense to why the hell he was so on edge and more emotionally volatile (with the added power of lack of sleep).
Now since redson has blown his plan sky high after blatantly saying that he was planning on courtnapping mk, how can he recover?
This is entirely speculation, however;
- He would need to rethink his strategy on how to even kidnap MK, now more then definitely expecting it
- Personally I do think MK (after the whole ordeal with heaven) would probably be waiting in anticipation for the courtnapping, so redson would need to be wary of that too
- Do I think mk would purposely become a little more vulnerable at times to have redson get an opening for courtnapping? Kinda. Do I think redson would go for it? Maybe, i have my doubts but its not a 0% chance
[Do I think redson if by some instinct would accidentally take advantage of it? ABSOLUTELY, that would be hilarious but also idealistic.]
Tldr; I think the foreshadowing by introducing us to new info and using that information for another character is genius, but also redson you have screwed urself over how are you planning on bouncing back to said plan?
Now, I am absolutely worried for the shit redson has planned for the courtnapping. We gotta remember; REDSON IS A TECHWIZ, he can come up with almost A N Y T H I N G that comes to mind. The fact he has spent five restless days to plan everything must show he has a whole lot to show for it.
But also he is very much going to need to sleep to be able to actually carry it out; otherwise he might fall asleep in the middle of doing shit. Redson this is ur sign that before you do anything else; for the love of God sleep, mk will still be there come morning.
Overall genuinely curious to see if redson will actually pull off doing the courtnapping even after that blunder.
