how did you decide you wanna go to art school? I'm only a hobbyist when it comes to art, but I've felt like my art has been at a stagnant stage with no real improvement. 😭

i have kind of always known i want to study art, and i am very lucky to have parents who are able to support me. but honestly, there are other ways to improve that are not going to an art school! whenever i feel like im stagnating it is either because i need to take a break or i need to practice my fundamentals again (most of the time it is both lol) and there are a ton of courses online that can teach you that (also line of action .com is a great free resource for figure drawing!!). drawing a lot from life is like a good reset. another thing i like to do is to drastically switch up my technique, i tend to go through phases where i paint a lot or ones where i only do line art. i'm back in my line art phase again, and i feel like it helps to keep things fresh and forces me out of my comfort zone which is always good haha. anyway im sorry this is so long hopefully this helps somewhat
